Pretty Rustic Crate bundle ideas by Mary

Today I'm sharing a few cards made by my Team Member Mary.  She was my October Artist of the Month and she chose to feature the Rustic Crate bundle seen here.

Her first project shows off her beautiful coloring and that neat create die-cut.

I believe she colored the fall image with Blends markers. Products used include the Let's Go Fishing designer paper, Mossy Meadow, Early Espresso and Wild Wheat card stock as well as the Nested Essential dies and In Color twine.

That cute little 'hello' die-cut is included in this bundle.

Measurements:

  • Card base 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
  • Wild Wheat banner 4 1/4" X 1"
  • Let's Go Fishing designer paper 2 1/2" X 5 1/4"

Her next card features a beautiful color combination of Copper Clay with Pretty Peacock, Very Vanilla and Lost Lagoon.

It also shows off the pretty All About Autumn specialty designer paper.  It's back in stock now too; see it here!

She simple sponged a bit of Copper clay ink over the fall image.

The Pretty Peacock die-cut leaf is from the Autumn Leaves dies.

Measurements:

  • Copper Clay card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
  • Lost Lagoon 5 1/4" X 4" plus a 1 3/4" circle punch
  • All About Autumn Designer paper 5 1/8" X 3 7/8" plus a 4" X 1/2" strip
  • Vanilla 3" X 2 1/4"

  • 3 new kits by Stampin’ Up! now available in the store

Stampin' Up! released 3 new kits in their substantial Kit Collection this month.  Two are cards and one is a beautiful bouquet of paper flowers.

You can find each of these kits and many more on this link.  Even though I am an experienced crafter I love working with kits.  It's a lovely break from thinking and planning.  But if I want to be creative I can still jazz up the kits.

My favorite is the Paper Bouquet kit.  I ordered two – one for my daughter for Mother's Day.  What a perfect gift!

    2. You can use your earned rewards on any future order.

  • A beautiful card with Thankful Garden bundle & masks – with lots of tips in the video!

Today I'm sharing the cards we made at my March card clubs.  I also shared it in last week's video.

I featured the Thankful Garden bundle from our Online Exclusives.  This bundle includes a stamp set, coordinating dies and the set of 5 masks.  Click here to see it online.

I shared quite a few helpful tips on using these masks in the video here.  Using them with our Blending Brushes truly makes you feel like an artist!  You get the multi-colored & layered effect so easily.

The greetings here are from the Unbounded Love stamp set.  My colors include Fresh Freesia, Black, Lemon Lime Twist and Balmy Blue.

Can you notice the 4 differences between the cards below?  Which one is your favorite?

Below is the video tutorial for this card and another neat fun fold layout.
