Pretty Funfold card swaps by my talented Team!

Today I'm sharing the last batch of swap cards made by my Flowerbug's Team. Our swap theme was to feature glitz, shine or glimmer.  They truly did their best to show off our beautiful specialty papers!

What a gorgeous card and the nativity die-cut is beautiful with the stars DSP background.  It's actually an easy fun fold too.  Unfortunately this pretty Shining Brightly designer paper is gone and out of stock. Her colors are simple but stunning – Night of Navy, Vanilla and Gold. 

Measurements:

  • Card base 5 1/2" X 5 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
  • DSP 2 3/4" X 3" and 1" X 5 1/4"
  • Gold Foil 3" X 3 1/4" and 1 1/8" X 5 3/8"
  • White inside 4" X 5 1/4", plus die-cuts

Next is a uniquely special New Year's card made by Paula.

Her colors include Gray Granite, Silver & White. Like I said, it's uniquely beautiful and an easy fun fold too. 

Measurements & products used:

  • Gray Granite card base 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" score at 3" & 7 1/4"
  • Silver glimmer paper 2 3/4" X 5 1/4" & 1" X 5 1/4" (sold out now)
  • Naturally Gilded DSP (online exclusive) 2 1/2" X 5" &  3/4" X 5"
  • leaf die-cut – Artistic dies from Annual catalog
  • Greeting die-cuts Nested Essentials (Annual catalog)

She used the Artistic dies to sponge a little detail inside her card.  Love it!

  • Delicate Wishes fancy fold with measurements!

    Jacki made this extra special fun fold for our February Team swap (the theme was circles).

    • Crushed Curry card base 4 1/4" X 5 1/2"
    • White back layer 4" X 5 1/4", angled layer 12" long – 2" tall at the left end and 4" tall at the right, score at 4" & 8" 
    • Circle die-cuts are 2 1/8", 2 1/2" (center), inside is 2 1/2" & 3" layered

  • 2 Pretty Team card swaps with neat technique ideas!

    Today I'm sharing two Team Swaps from last month.  Both have neat product ideas.

    First is Tracey's cute card. Can you guess what the tiny scallops on the DSP is?

    She used the Petal Pink scalloped ribbon under the DSP! Tracey has a special gift on fun ways to use ribbon & twine. This effect is so pretty & delicate looking.  It's currently in low inventory. 

    Measurements:

    The DSP is 5 1/4" X 1 3/4", the White 5 1/4" X 4", the card base is 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4". The layer under the ribbon & DSP is 5 1/4 X 2"

    PETAL PINK 3/8” (1 CM) SCALLOPED RIBBON Save

    Next is a pretty card made by Lori. Her special technique surprised me!  Do you spot it?

    Feb Tracey Save

    She stitched her die-cut circle (Spotlight on Nature) with the 3 color pack of Baker's Twine!  

    Her card base is Flirty Flamingo and the 4" X 5 1/4" CS layer is textured with the Exposed Brick embossing folder seen here.  The pretty DSP is the Sale-a-Bration Bloom Impressions (now retired). The greeting & die-cuts are from the Memorable Blooms bundle seen here.

  • You are Remarkable fun fold card with the new Botanical Textures DSP & Arches dies

    I shared this card on last week's FB Live.  I made it for an online card swap.  I just love it!

    It's a simple fold back card with the Arches dies and the new You Are  remarkable stamp set.  Here's what it looks like opened: I love the double Arches dies here! These dies are in low inventory AGAIN.  See them here.

    The You Are Remarkable stamp set (seen here) is both a 2-step stamp and a Distinktive set which means you get multiple hues of ink with one stamping.  I like that you can stamp the flower and leaves separately in different color inks from the single outline stamp.  Note the inside flower image above that I stamped without the outline.  I like it just as well this way too!
