Pretty Daisy Daydream card & sneak peek of upcoming Paper Pumpkin kits

I created this beautiful card using the March Daisy Daydream Paper Pumpkin kit. It's one of my alternatives made with items in the kit.

I used the card base and the stamp set but added a few other items such as:

  • Perennial Postage die-cut that I sponged the edges on
  • leaves die-cuts from the Cheerful Daisy dies
  • Daffodil Delight ribbon (adhered loops to the back)
  • a Mossy Meadow layer
  • Adhesive-Backed Metallic gems 

Each month all of my Paper Pumpkin customers (and team members) receive a free tutorial filled with alternative ideas. It's really fun to receive a kit each month and start playing with the items in the box.

  • Berry Delightful Fun Fold cards with video

    Here are the cards we made at my January Card Clubs featuring the Berry Delightful bundle in the Sale-a-Bration catalog.  Everyone loved how easy this fold is!

    I gave them the choice of either blueberry or raspberry cards; this stamp set and designer paper work beautifully with both!  It also pairs fabulously with the Sweet Strawberry bundle too! 

    I used Rich Razzleberry & Pacific Point card stock and ink on these cards; plus some Garden Green ink.

    See that gorgeous stitching around the inside layer?  That's the new Stitched with Whimsy dies. They stitch but don't cut.  There are 6 assorted sizes in this set.  You can see it here.

    • Main card 4 1/4" X 7 1/2" scored at 5 1/2"
      Designer paper 1 3/4" X 4"

  • Lots of Heart; not just for Valentines!

    I received this beautiful card from Diane last week. She's one of my talented Team members!  Isn't it wonderful!!

    She used the Lots of Heart bundle on page 15 of the Spring catalog.  You can see it here.  It's filled with lots of pretty dies, heart images and greetings too!

    I love that there's a buffalo check heart image in this set!  And the stitching!. Remember that for every $50 order you can pick out a free item.   • Darling Donkey’s Birthday card

    The Darling Donkey's stamp set (seen here) is one of the most popular sets in our Sale-a-Bration promotion right now.  So I chose to use it for my card clubs in January.  We made this cute but easy card:

    Measurements:

    • Pool Party card 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
    • So Saffron 2" X 4 1/4"
    • Flower & Field DSP 3" X 5 1/2"
    • White die-cut 2 1/2" X 4" 

    I used the Balloon Bouquet punch with this DSP for a quick accent.  I glued the Black & White twine down with liquid Multipurpose Glue.  The donkey is colored in with Blends markers.
