This week I'm sharing our wonderful array of Team card swaps from July. This month our theme was 'thank you cards' without flowers.

Her colors include Old Olive, Coastal Cabana and Wild Wheat. I love the pretty textured White background so much; it really shows off the leaves & die-cuts.

Her colors include Highland Heather, Shy Shamrock and Basic Beige. She also used the Spotlight on Nature dies for her circles. She sponged a bit of Basic Beige ink onto the embossed layer to highlight the texture.

  • Stunning cards in the Thoughtful Journey kit to go; or choose the PDF tutorial

    I couldn't wait to play and create with the gorgeous Thoughtful Journey designer paper.  I think scenic paper like this makes card making a breeze!  I decided to make each card a fancy fold too.

    I was so excited when I saw the Frames & Flowers designer paper in the new catalog. It has multiple sheets of pre-cut elements that coordinate with the paper.  This makes it so easy to create with as you don't have to stamp or die-cut additional pieces.

  • Spotlight on Nature fun fold card; free project sheet & video tutorial

    Today I'm sharing the second card I created on last week's Live video.  Both feature new in colors and the Spotlight on Nature bundle.

    SPOTLIGHT ON NATURE BUNDLE Save

    This card really shows off the two embossing folders I used.  On the card below I used the Dotted Circles 3D folder seen here. It's an extra large folder (6" X 8 1/2") that has very deep texture.  It's Shy Shamrock with Pretty in Pink. The designer paper is the Unbounded Beauty.

    The card below features the Eyelet 3D folder which is quite pretty & delicate. See it here. This card is Petunia Pop with Shy Shamrock. 

    Do you notice the difference in the greetings?  I fussy cut one to add to the In Color Glimmer paper and the other I simply trimmed the ends at an angle.
