Perched in a Tree Explosion card with video tutorial!

I created this card on last week's FB Live video. You can watch it here.

For the card front, I simply added a layer of the Rings of Love DSP behind it for a soft background. You can keep it this simple or create your own background!

However I made the inside of the card extra special with an Explosion fold. These look so difficult to do but honestly they're not! Please watch the video; afterwards you'll want to make one!

The left card has the Rings of Love DSP and the card on the right features the Storybook Gnomes designer paper. For greetings I used the Soft Seedlings & Perched in a Tree stamp sets.

I also shared an easy ribbon trick in the video; if you have trouble with bows I hope you watch.

Measurements:

Card base 4 1/4" X 11" scored at 5 1/2"
DSP – 3 7/8” X 5 1/8”, inside is 8” square
Greeting strip 1” X 4”
White 4” X 5 ¼” & inside is 3 ½” square

Mischievous Mice Fancy Fold cards; awesome swaps by my Team

Our Flowerbug's Team swap theme in February was animal fun fold cards. Here are two sweet cards using the Mischievous Mice stamp set. It's one of our hostess sets you can earn free with an order over $150. Stampin' Rewards are those you can use towards free & discounted products like this choice. Sharon made this amazing card using Soft Succulent as her card base.

the designer paper is from Harvest Meadow which was in the 2021 Holiday catalog. Don't you love these cute images? She fussy cut the balloon and cheese out.

Next is a card Annette made using Daffodil Delight and Soft Suede. Her card is a standard gatefold; scoring a 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" card base at 2 1/8" from each end.

She used our Hive 3D embossing folder, blending Daffodil ink over it. Great effect she achieved! She colored the image in with Blends markers. Love that shadow she created!

And look at the sweet inside addition!

Awesome Otters is perfect with the Simply Marbelous!

There are just 2 days left of Sale-a-Bration promotion and I had to share this sweet card my Flowerbug's team member Karen made for our recent swap. The theme was cards featuring animals & fun fold layout.

She used Balmy Blue, Misty Moonlight & Gray Granite along with the Hippo & Friends dies. She colored him in with Blends markers.

This card is a triangle pop up card. The front of the card is scored diagonally across it so you can give it a twist to pop it up. The inside greeting holds it up.

The Awesome Otters set is adorable; those critters are so cute!
