Peaceful Poppies cards kit to go; RSVP by March 19th!

The cards kit to go features the Peaceful Poppies designer paper. It's full of hand painted blooms accented by watercolor effects all inspired by fields of poppies.   

The 5 designs include two unique fun fold cards which are easy to make yet special for the recipient. 
 
 
This kit to go includes $20 in actual product (before tax & shipping).  You're getting the 10 cards pre-cut kit for just $5!  See those beautiful die-cuts and trim pieces? They are included in my kits!  I do the time consuming work for you so you can enjoy the fun of just stamping and assembly.

Here's one of the fun-fold cards in this month's kit.  It has a pocket for your greeting and/or a gift card if you'd like to add one.
 
 
I did use the poppy image from the Painted Poppies set in the card above.

The Painted Poppies bundle is not available right now but should be back mid April! Both of these bundles coordinate together beautifully and are part of the Peaceful Poppies suite on pages 24-27 in the mini catalog.
 
  
The cards kit to go includes the following:

– a pre-cut cards kit for 10 cards; including die-cuts and many punched pieces

– Free pdf instructions with photos, measurements (to make more), step by step instructions and a supplies list

– 1/2 package of the 12 X 12" Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper

– 1 full package of the Peaceful Poppies sequins

– 3 spools of colored Baker's twine in Poppy Parade, Black and Garden Green

  • Pretty Pumpkins with Be Dazzling specialty paper

    After seeing other projects with the Pretty Pumpkin bundle I had to get it.  I love the images and the font in the greetings.

    I stamped the large pumpkin image in Pumpkin Pie ink and colored them and the leaves with Blends markers using both Pumpkin Pie & Olive markers plus light Crumb Cake for the stem & light Cajun Craze for the darkest areas on the pumpkins.

    I was playing around with the Be Dazzling specialty paper and decided to try to color it.  I had a spritzer filled with rubbing alcohol & either Pumpkin Pie or Cajun Craze ink refill.  So I spritzed it on to a piece of the glittery paper.  It worked beautifully!  I did have to let it sit for a few minutes to set well.  Then I rubbed it with tissue to get any excess off before I die-cut the pretty filigree pumpkin with it.  

    I also spritzed my White twine to color it as well.

  • Counting Sheep with the Give it a Whirl dies interactive card

    We made this adorable card at my August card clubs this month.  It features the new Counting Sheep & the Sheep dies from the Sale-a-Bration catalog.

    Plus it's a view-master card! Remember those?  The Give it a Whirl dies (seen here) on page 163 of the annual catalog are incredible!  I was hesitant to even try using these dies because I thought it would be so complicated to figure out.  But I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and intuitive they are to use. Stampin' Up! really did these up smart!

    The colors here are Pale Papaya, Balmy Blue, White, Crumb Cake & Granny Apple Green.  We created a background using the Blending Brushes with Balmy Blue & Granny Apple Green ink.

    Details:

    • Sheep dies include the fence, balloons and the sheep
    • Give it a Whirl dies – stitched view-master sponged layer, the scalloped circle, clouds, window & stars 
    • I cut the scalloped circle piece from thick White CS since it would get a lot of activity
    • You will need brads & Stampin' Dimensionals for this card to work

  • Bloom Where You’re Planted card & video; a unique & trendy suite!

    Plants & succulents are all the rage right now.  Stampin' Up! is right on trend with the Bloom Where You're Planted suite.  We made this neat card at my July card clubs. Scroll to the bottom to watch the video.
