The last of my 10 amazing card ideas for Paper Strips!

Today I'm sharing the last of the 10 cards I made on my Facebook Live video.  If you aren't following me on Facebook yet click here. I host a video each Tuesday morning at 11 am CT and twice a month on Monday evenings as well.

I had a bunch of paper strips leftover from cutting out for cards and kits and created some fun & unique cards with them.  We're calling them 'Stripper Cards'!

Here's a favorite I made with 3/4" X 3 3/4" strips of Bermuda Bay, Pool Party & Pumpkin Pie.

Save

I started out with a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of White CS.  Starting at the bottom I added a strip and alternated colors and directions each time.  I focused on keeping the tips at the same area and left the excess 'wide' end hang over the edge.

I had to leave enough space to stamp the greeting (You Are Amazing set seen here) so I stopped about 1 1/2" up.  The last piece may need to be trimmed before you add that skinny little edge strip.  A few Holiday rhinestones finish it off.

On my video (scroll down) I used Real Red with the Pool Party & Bermuda Bay.  Which do you prefer?

This is another of my favorites!  So easy and just plain fun!

I cut random lengths of 1/4" strips and adhered them to a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Black card stock. The greeting is from the Sweet Ice Cream set stamped on a 1" X 4 3/4" strip of White CS.  Add this and trim the ends off before you add it to the main Coastal Cabana card base.

Here are both versions; which do you prefer?

• Left features Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry & Pumpkin Pie.
• Right has Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point and Daffodil Delight.

Have you noticed our In Color cards & envelopes?  They're called Flowers for Every Season Memories & More cards & envelopes; whew!  That's a long name, right?!  See them on page 154 of the annual catalog or click here.  They're larger than our average card at 4 1/4" X 6 1/4" and come with 10 printed cards and envelopes.  All for $11 and in our pretty 2020-22 In Colors.

This week I'm sharing cards made with this beautiful Flower & Field DSP; it's free with any $50 order in February during Sale-a-Bration.  See it here.

Here I added a piece of the Flower & Field DSP measuring 3" X 4" to these pretty cards. Then a layered greeting and a punched flower.  So easy, but aren't they cute?!

I used a few of our Pick a Banner punches for the White 1" strip and the Blossom punch for the flower. I added a vellum piece underneath punched with the Story Label punch.   The greeting is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.

The February Paper Pumpkin kit is a beautiful set of cards with a 'thinking of you' theme.  Here's how Stampin' Up! is describing this cards kit:

The Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin Kit provides enough supplies to create nine cards and coordinating envelopes. This soft, sympathetic kit includes patterned card bases, die-cut floral elements, ribbon, embellishments, and more!

The kit’s exclusive Bouquet of Hope Stamp Set features supportive sentiments centered around comfort, care, hope, and love. Such a versatile stamp set can be used throughout the year!

  • Card size: 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" (10.8 x 14 cm)
  • Coordinating colors: Basic Black, Bumblebee, Just Jade, Merry Merlot, Mossy Meadow, Rococo Rose
  • Coordinates with the Flower & Field Designer Series Paper, an exclusive Sale-A-Bration item.

**Remember that if you purchase a 3,6 or 12 month pre-paid subscription in February you can earn a free Sale-a-Bration item (or 2-4!).  It's what I do each year at this time.  You can see the pre-paid options here.

Here's what I suggest:  Get a 6 month pre-paid now and then in August get a second one during that SAB promotion!  You'll earn 2 free SAB choices each time!
