  • Crafting with You; one more way to use it!

During this week's Live video I shared how to make this cute card featuring the Crafting with You bundle seen here; new in the 2023-24 Annual Catalog.

This card is done in Boho Blue with only white to accent it.  I stamped the background with the Cheerful Daisies stamp.  I cut a slit in the stamped & die-cut machine with a craft knife to insert the textured White layer into.

I added a 1" strip of the new In Color 6 X 6" DSP to the White cardstock before I die-cut it with the new Countryside Corners dies.

I shared the following photo last week to show you the newest In Colors but since I made a video showing you how to make this card I'm sharing it again now.

Which color is your favorite?  From left to right – Pebbled Path, Copper Clay, Wild Wheat, Moody Mauve & Boho Blue.

  • See 2 ways to use the new ‘Crafting with You’ bundle in my video

On my weekly Live video I shared two, well actually three ways to use the incredible Crafting with You bundle seen here from Stampin' Up!  It's new in the 2023-24 Annual Stampin' Up! catalog.  Here's one of them:

It's perfect for the seamstress or quilter. I couldn't resist making a card featuring some of our frequently used tools – like the paper trimmer and die-cutting machine….

This set has so many options for crafters! It has an easel & paint brushes, yarn, embroidery hoop, sewing machine, paper crafting etc.  It's loaded!

These cards feature TWO of our newest colors in our color families.  Left is Bubble Bath and right is Azure Afternoon.  I used Smoky Slate, White, Black and a bit of silver on my cards.

I stamped my large white layer with the same ink as the card base and because it was a little busy I added a layer of vellum over it.  Then a stamp of Bright & Beautiful DSP before I added the textured 3" circle.  The circle also helps tone down the busy background.

A few neat tips on this card: there are two different baskets you can add items to including the yarn, paint brushes, spools of thread or even flowers.

I show how to make the scissors in the video.  You need to cut out two; one in black and one in silver.  Trim off the silver ends and add them over the full, black scissor die-cuts.

For the paper crafting card I stamped the greeting on a strip of White cardstock and inserted it into the paper trimmer.  Love that the die-cut leaves this option for us.  The black 'knob' on my trimmer cuts out separately so you can add it in place as you like.  They thought of everything on this set!!

  • The NEW Annual Catalog starts today! More new catalog launch boards too

The new catalog goes live today!!  It's always an exciting time when we get a brand new Annual catalog.

Check out the new products online here.

Each year Stampin' Up! adds a brand new set of 5 In Colors; this year it's Wild Wheat, Moody Mauve, Copper Clay, Boho Blue and Pebbled Path.  Beautiful earthy colors!

Below are more of my New Catalog Launch party displays.

This year we said goodbye to 11 colors and now say hello to 11 new core colors!  7 returning colors and 4 brand new!

In the photo below the top 4 are our newest colors – Lemon Lolly, Azure Afternoon, Bubble Bath and Pecan Pie. I'm so excited about them; we needed these colors!

Tip: did you know there is a set of both card stock AND Stampin' Write markers?  You can order these without having to order entire packs of each color families.

I'm thrilled to have some of these returning favorites back in our color line!

Below is my Fresh as a Daisy board.  Beautiful lifelike Fresh as a Daisy designer paper with the Cheerful Daisy bundle; pretty images and fabulous dies.

This pretty Fresh as a Daisy designer paper is another contender for my upcoming card kits to go.  I like to use our pretty designer papers as my starting point for the 10 cards I create.  You can see the kits I have available now here.

And here is one of my top picks from our pre-order – the Timeless Arrangements bundle.  I shared a few projects in a recent video seen here.

Watch the video here (or below) where I share how to use this bundle; the designers were so smart on this one!  The way they added the rectangular anchor pieces is genius!  You can watch a video here where I featured this bundle.
