Inlaid technique video with Mountain View!

This gorgeous card was one of our January Card Club projects. Of course I love the colors of Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green and Pretty Peacock.

I cased the idea from Cheryl Miller at Sense of Whimsy.

Here's how to make this pretty card.

First die-cut two trees from the main White panel one on the upper left and one on the lower right.
I sponged one of these die-cut white trees with Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple ink for the center tree.
Then die-cut two more trees from the Lily Impressions designer paper (free with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration).
Adhere the White panel to the Coastal Cabana panel and then to the main Green card base.
Insert the two die-cut trees into the left and right die-cut areas for an inlaid effect. (I recommend Fine Tip glue or Multipurpose adhesive)
There's a trick to getting this unique greeting shape with the Tailored Tag punch. I share it on the video below.
I used the Sending you Thoughts stamp set and heat embossed the greeting.

A Wonderful Serene Love card kit to go; or choose the tutorial option

I knew I'd love this paper when I ordered it. I was right! The patterns and colors are beautiful.

I created a fantastic group of cards featuring the Serene Love DSP (new release this month). All but 4 of the 5 designs are fun folds. Aren't they pretty?

I added Pretty in Pink as an accent since it works wonderfully with these colors. I created 5 different cards and made 2 of each. In this kit to go you'll receive the following:
- 10 pre-cut cards including layers, punched or die-cut pieces
- a share of Iridescent Pearl jewels
- a share of Pretty in Pink ribbon
- the PDF tutorial with photos, directions, measurements and a supplies list

Super Easy Fun Fold card with free project sheet & video tutorial

I shared this simple but unique fun fold card on last week's Live video. It's a great card fold and makes great use of your designer paper too.

It's called a back fold and is so easy to make! The greeting layers are adhered to the right edge of this card. It holds the left flap closed but opens easily since there is a scored line. I hope you watch the video below to see how it's done.

It features our Take a Bow designer series paper from the Holiday catalog. I also used the Christmas Labels bundle for my greeting image and die-cut.

The White die-cut is from the set of dies but it was quite easy to layer a red shape under it. I fussy cut the upper & lower edges to match. The green glimmer die-cuts are from the Winterly Tree Tops dies and our Festive Glimmer paper.

I shared this super cute fun fold card on last week's Live video. It has lots of layers but it's so easy to make!

Besides the bright, happy holiday colors in the Take a Bow DSP I love that this fun fold uses your cardstock efficiently. Each diagonally cut card base is one half of an 8 1/2" X 11" sheet of CS. I forgot to take a photo of this aspect but I do share it in the video seen here.

Below is a photo that shows how it opens and the pocket available for the optional gift card.

My colors include Real Red & Garden Green with White. The diagonal layers are also easy to do. Start with a rectangle and cut it in half on the diagonal making sure you cut it to match the diagonal.

The Red die-cut is from Greetings of the Season dies and the pine bough die-cuts are from the Winterly Tree Tops and made from the Festive Glimmer paper.
