Mountain Air with Stitched Nested Labels

This month I'm featuring the Mountain Air bundle; a fantastic set of stamps and dies that make creating scenes so easy. I created 10 beautiful scenic cards to share with anyone who orders this bundle from me this month.  It's also free to anyone who places an online order.  *Details below

Here's one of my favorites made with the Stitched Nested Label dies and the Stone embossing folder.

You might wonder how I achieved the textured white washed background.  I first textured the Smoky Slate card stock with the Stone 3D embossing folder.  Then I lightly rubbed my White Craft ink pad directly onto the card stock.  Let dry or heat set with an embossing tool.  Such a fabulous look!

Other details:

  • Colors are Smoky Slate, Pretty Peacock, Basic Gray and Whisper White
  • The trees are stamped in Pretty Peacock; one in full strength ink and the other second generation ink (stamped off once). They're die-cut with the Majestic Mountain dies. 
  • The greeting is from the Well Said stamp set (one you can get FREE with the purchase of the Starter kit! #BestDealEver!)

  • Stock up on your Men’s cards!

    Most of us have lots of feminine, pretty or cute cards but when we need a card for the men in our life we usually have to scramble!  

    Well I've got a quick solution for you.  Use the Come Sail Away Memories & More cards plus the Cards & Envelopes.  You can either purchase my pre-cut 12 cards kit to go with pdf tutorial here or just the tutorial alone here.

  • Delicate Lace Edgelits; marked down & on sale!

    I am shocked at the price of the Delicate Lace Edgelit dies on the Last Chance list.  They are marked down from $29 to $11.60 right now.  I've used them a ton; in fact one of our Club cards features them this month.

    Guilded Tissue Save

    You might wonder about the card above.  It was made at one of my Technique classes.  The tissue paper was colored with Pigment Sprinkles, dried and adhered loosely to card stock.  Then swipe Versamark over it and heat emboss with Gold powder.
