More WOW swaps by my Flowerbug’s Team with measurements

Okay; are you as amazed by this card as I am?!  Candace made this with the Submarine Life bundle.

Feb Candace Sublime Save

The bubble paper looks like it's printed but she made it! She stamped on her Pool Party card stock with Pool Party & White craft ink with the bubble image.  Incredible!

I'm not positive of the many colors she used here but I know a few include Sweet Sorbet, Blueberry Bushel, Daffodil Delight & Old Olive.  She's a huge fan of the Beatles 'Yellow Submarine' so she had to get this bundle! 

Measurements: 

  • Blueberry Bushel 8 1/8" X 5 1/4". Across the top, score at the 1 5/8" mark down to 1 5/8". Score at 3 3/8" down to 3 5/8". Score at 5" down to the bottom of the card. From the bottom side, score at the 6 1/2" up to 1 5/8". Now you'll make two cuts across the center two areas from the score lines.  
  • Pool Party large squares 3 1/4", small squares 1 1/2" X 2 for the bottom.  Top pieces are 1 1/2" X 1 3/4"
  • Back white is 3" X 3 3/8"

  • Pool Party 6 1/2" X 5 1/2" score at 4 1/4", second flap is 6" X 4 1/4" score at 3 1/8"
  • DSP 2" X 5 1/4"
  • White inside 3 1/2" X 4" 
  • Poppy Parade circle is 2 1/4"

  • Neat Double Decker pop-up card with measurements

    Today I'm sharing a new pop-up fold – at least it's new to me!  It's called a Double Decker pop up. 

    Masterfully Made 5 Save

    Measurements: 

    • White card base 8 ½” X 5 ½” scored at 2 1/8” & 4 ¼”
    • White inside pop-up box – 3 ½” square scored at ¾”, 1 ½”, 2 ¼” and 3”
    • Front textured piece 1 7/8” X 5 ¼”
    • Scalloped White inside die-cut is 3 1/8” X 4 ½”
    • Fresh Freesia is 2 ¾” X 3 ¾”
    • Designer Paper – 2 pieces per card; 2 ½” X 3 ½” & 4” X 5 ¼”

    MASTERFULLY MADE 12" X 12" (30.5 X 30.5 CM) DESIGNER SERIES PAPER Save

    The inside 'box' that pops up the scalloped rectangle layer is adhered to both the side and back of the card.  It folds flat when mailing but sure adds nice dimension when the card is opened.

  • One Horse Open Sleigh Spanner fun fold card

    I was surprised to see the One Horse Open Sleigh designer paper back in stock.  It was unavailable last week but it's back now.  I featured it in one of my July card kits to go.  See it here online.

    ONE HORSE OPEN SLEIGH 6" X 6" (15.2 X 15.2 CM) DESIGNER SERIES PAPER Save

    This designer paper is so pretty; it's filled with beautiful scenes and soft prints. 

    It's called a spanner card because of it's unique fold – the horizontal layer spans the card from side to side.

    I added a few die-cut trees on the right side.  I colored them with Blends markers – adding brown and Gray Granite to the white. The greeting is from the Lasting Joy stamp set. 

    The Gray Granite card base is a simple 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4".  Then you cut up to the score line at the 1 1/4" mark on front; on both sides. 

    I added designer paper to the center panel and also to both side panels.  The horizontal piece 'spans' under the to side panels like this:

    Measurements:

    • Card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4".  Cut up to the score line at 1 1/4". 
    • Horizontal layer 5 1/2" X 1"
    • Designer paper 2 3/4" X 4" and two pieces 1" X 4" for the sides.
