Masterful Monochromatic Floral Swap cards by my Flowerbugs

Today is the last of the pretty monochromatic cards my Flowerbug's gals made for our January swap. The theme was a challenge for some but others found it easy. Have you made a monochromatic card before? If not try it!

This first card was made by Tracey using the Meadow dies in Blushing Bride & White.

There are so many beautiful details!

All of these flowers, butterfly & greeting dies are from the Meadow dies seen here. They're cut from White, Bushing Bride & Vellum CS
The texture is from the Bark 3D embossing folder seen here.
She sponged on one of the die-cuts and the textured piece too.
The greeting is heat embossed using White embossing powder

Next is a card made by Ginny using the Color & Contour bundle seen here. She chose to use the In Color Pale Papaya.

The designer paper is from our 6 X 6" In Color assorted DSP pack seen here. Did you know we have patterned paper in each of our Stampin' Up! colors! I love how easy it is to coordinate our products with our color line. It just makes me happy!

Next is a card Candace made using the new Sale-a-Bration free bundle called Friendly Hello seen here.

Here are the details:

Her colors are Blushing Bride & Flirty Flamingo. She stamped her flowers on both the greeting circle and the Blushing Bride card base.
She used the Basic Border dies to trim off the front edge for a stitched detail.
The striped DSP is on the inside of the card. It's from the Host Pattern Party DSP
She textured the larger circle with the new Gingham embossing folder.
The ribbon is our new Frayed White ribbon in the Jan-June catalog.

Love Cats video tutorial with an easy but unique fun fold

We made this CUTE card at my February card clubs. It really shows off the Love Cats stamp set seen here.

I shared it on my FB Live yesterday (see video below). It's sort of a unique fold in that the card base is a quarter sheet and the Sweet Sorbet is smaller and opens; see?

In order to get full, solid images I used the Stamparatus for the cats. It makes a world of difference! *Catch the tips in the video below.

*Other items used here are the Conversation Bubbles dies, Pastel Adhesive-backed sequins, Balmy Blue variegated ribbon, Stylish Shapes dies, White embossing powder, Heat Tool, Sweet Sorbet Blends marker

Measurements:
- Card base 8 ½” X 5 ½”
- Sweet Sorbet 8” X 5 ¼” scored at 4”
- White inside is 3 ½” X 4 ¾”
- DSP 1 ½” X 5 ¼”
I used the Happy Labels stamp set for the inside greetings. It has some fabulous images; see it here.

Multiple amazing ‘WOW’ cards featuring the Legendary Ride bundle!

Each month in our Flowerbug's Team a member is featured as 'Artist of the Month' and shows off a bundle or suite of projects. In February it was Jane and she chose to use the Legendary Ride bundle. She did an amazing and creative group of cards!

Take a look at these incredible samples:

Do you see the orange racks holding up the bike? She used the 'seat' dies to create it. She also sponged on them a bit so they were 'well used'! Ha!

The background with clouds and the checkered bottom are all from the Ready to Ride DSP. Look at the detail on her motorcycle! The dies are incredibly detailed.

This next card is a center step card. It also features multiple pieces of the Ready to Ride designer paper. It's hard to see in the photo but she die-cut the seat from the Black foil in the DSP.

She sure made the most of this unique Legendary Ride bundle by Stampin' Up! You can see it here online.

This next card features a pocket greeting on the front. You can pull it up and remove it to use as a bookmark. She textured the front panel with the Metal Plate 3D embossing folder seen here. Perfect texture for this guy card.

She added color to the Ready to Ride floral paper above using a Sweet Sorbet Blends marker. She really showed off this unique designer paper on her projects. I LOVE the shiny black foil accents. See it here.

Next is a great guy birthday card that doesn't feature a motorcycle at all. She added elements from the He's the Man DSP in the Annual Caalog.

And last is this neat card with a road map and bike tread with a more colorful bike. See the Adhesive Backed studs on the upper corners? They pair wonderful with this suite. See them here.
