July’s Card Kit to Go; the beautiful Expressions in Ink Specialty DSP!

The Expressions in Ink designer paper is stunning; I had to feature it in my July cards kit to go!  The cards in this kit show it off beautifully. 

This pretty designer paper has been unavailable for the last month; Stampin' Up! expects to have it this week.  I'm sure hoping they're right!

You can choose between the PDF tutorial here or the better deal of the pre-cut kit with tutorial seen here.

There are 10 gorgeous cards; 5 pairs including a few unique folds like a diamond gate fold and faux pocket card.  The PDF is emailed to you immediately upon payment on the links above.  Please check your spam or junk folder. 

The actual kit is mailed out via Priority Mail at the end of July. *If you are a subscriber of my monthly kits, this is the one you'll receive for July.  

Details:

  • This kit includes all pre-cut pieces for the 10 cards shown; except the Designer Paper. You'll receive 1/2 pkg. of Expressions in Ink Specialty Designer Paper (6" X 12"), the Ephemera Pack and Gold cording. 
  • You'll use the measurements in the PDF tutorial to cut your new Designer Paper. 
  • You'll have plenty of product left to create even more projects! 
  • The PDF Tutorial includes step by step directions, photos, measurements and a supplies list. You'll use the directions to create your cards with your own supplies.
  • The kit is mailed out at the end of July via Priority Mail.  

You'll need the following to finish the cards like mine:

  • Stamps – Artistically Inked stamp set (seen here) *Add it or the bundle on to your order at 10% discount! (or substitute another set you already own)
  • Inks – Shaded Spruce, Old Olive or Pear Pizzazz, Magenta Madness, Pale Papaya
  • Other – Adhesives, sponge, Paper Trimmer

  • New: Vine Design Dutch Door fold card

    I made several cards for online swaps featuring products in the upcoming 2021 Spring & Sale-a-Bration catalog.  This pretty fun fold card was one of them.  I gravitate towards anything with leaves or vines so I knew I'd like this set called Vine Design.

    The colors here are Night of Navy, Seaside Spray & Old Olive with White. I used my Stamparatus for the vine image; it's so perfect for multiple cards!  Perfect inking and placement each time. 

    See that greeting & layered ovals?  We have a new   DOUBLE OVAL PUNCH!!!  I'm so excited about this one.  I've missed out oval punches so much and now both are in one! 

    See the measurements below.

    Supplies:

    • Stamps – Vine  Design (2021 Spring Catalog)
    • Ink – Old Olive, Navy, Seaside Spray
    • CS -  Old Olive, Navy, Seaside Spray, Whisper White
    • Other – Double Oval Punch, Detailed Trio Punch, Well Suited Twine combo pack, Rhinestones, dimensionals, Mini glue dots

  • Retro Circles layout with a quick video. So unique & versatile!

    I hope you had a nice Christmas weekend!  We sure did.  It's one of my favorite times of the year; one time where all of my kids are home and we're all together. 

    Here's another card we made at my December card clubs.  It was such a hit on Facebook Live Stamp with Me that I had to do it at Club too.  It's a great way to show off your designer paper with this retro style.  Scroll down to see the video. 

    Dec Retro Circles Club[1] Save

    You just need three circles of different sizes.  I used the Stitched Shapes dies so they have the extra detail of stitches on the edges.  I use these dies so much!  If you don't have them I highly recommend them. See them here. 

    I used the Brightly Gleaming specialty DSP here and instead of the copper foiled side I used the other side which has Navy, Mossy Meadow & Island Indigo.

    The stamped images are from the Itty Bitty Birthday & Lots to Celebrate stamp sets.  Just one ink color; Night of Navy.

    Dec Retro Circles Club[1] Save

    The above cards were made with various designer papers & stamp sets.  The top is Classic Christmas, left is Heartwarming Hugs and right is Snowflake Splendor. 

    Measurements:

    • Main card 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
    • Neutral (White or Vanilla) is 3 1/2" X 4 3/4"
    • Greeting strip is 1/2" X 5" 
    • Circles are the largest three stitched circle dies 1 3/4", 2 3/8" & 2 7/8"

  • Let it Snow?! Are you having a White Christmas?

    Merry Christmas everyone!  I hope you are enjoying your Holiday today and that you are able to spend time with some of your favorite people. This year is so unusual and difficult for many who are isolated.  I wish you the best and thank you for your support this past year.  

    We did just get snow this week; very unusual for us in North Dakota!  So it's a white Christmas after all.  

    Here are two of my favorite wintery cards featuring my Life is Beautiful stamp set.

    Snowman Save

    The card above is Seaside Spray with Black & White.  The stamp set is Snowman Season in the Annual Catalog. 

    Snowflake Splendor card Save

    This card is made with the Snowflake Splendor designer paper.  Ink colors are black, Balmy Blue & Highland Heather. The DSP is retiring in a week or so and it's on sale here. 

    Snowman Save

    This card is very similar to the one above only made with Early Espresso & Balmy Blue.
