He’s the Man fun fold card; Facebook Live tonight!

Here's the card  we're making tonight for Stamp with Me Live. It's at 7:30 pm CT here.
Gather some supplies and create along with me.
 
 
I used He's the Man DSP; no stamping on the front.  I used the die-cuts included in the special He's the Man designer series paper.  I love this paper with the two sheets of fun elements we can use for card making or scrapbooking.  
 
It's a fun fold card with the bottom half opening up to reveal the same angled square piece as the front. These are from the Stylish Shapes dies seen here.  This set of dies is all stitched in squares, circles and banner shapes!
 
Measurements:
  • Card base 5 1/2" X 4 1/4", & 2 1/4" X 11" scored at 5 1/2"
  • embossed back is 5 1/4" X 4"
  • Squares 2 3/4" & 2 3/8"
  • DSP 5 1/4" X 2"
Other products used:
Dies are Stylish Shapes; Brick embossing folder & Rustic Metallic adhesive-backed dots.
 
The stamp is from the He's All That bundle; the arrow is another element from the Designer Paper seen here.

  • Trio of Celebrate Sunflowers cards with video & an easy highlighting technique!

    Look at these gorgeous sunflower cards!  They were a big hit at my Card Clubs this month.  They could chose between Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade and Calypso Coral ink for their sunflower.

    We sponged each sunflower leaving the center without color except for a bit of Crumb Cake Blends marker.  I know it might not be realistic but I like the pop of White in the center for brightness.

    Then we used White Craft ink and Blender pens to highlight a few petals here and there on the sunflowers.  It's super easy! I created a video below so you can see how it's done.

  • Triangle DSP cards with video

    If you want to make quick yet fabulous cards join me every other Monday night for Stamp with Me Live on Facebook.  It's the 2nd & 4th Monday's at 7:30 pm CT here. 

    I tend to focus on using Designer Paper but sometimes it's just a great layout or a new technique.  I share the projects & measurements on Saturdays so you can prep your supplies and stamp right along with me.
