She cut down a small milk carton to insert inside the paper basket so we could add water. She added a metal frog to the inside of it to add the flowers securely. The fresh flowers lasted over a week!
Would you like to know how she made the basket? Well she made a template to share with you all as well! Download Sharon's Basket here
For the candy basket she used a brand new Pansy Petals designer paper in the new 2021 Annual Catalog.
I used the Snowflake 12" specialty vellum that 'was' in our Holiday catalog. They ran out of stock in early December. And the Wonderful Snowflakes (large white snowflake) was discounted on the Last Chance list but they've run out now too! This time of year is so difficult to plan for.
But they loved the card and thought the fold was fun too.
I shared how to make it on my FB Live yesterday. Click here to watch.
The back of the card is simply a quarter sheet of Starry Sky card stock – 5 1/2" X 4 1/4".
The fold is 3 1/4" X 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4".
The large piece of vellum and the white inside are 3" X 4". The side pieces of vellum are about 1 1/2" X 4".
I used the Joyful Flurry stamp set (retiring) & dies for the inside of the left card. The Frosted Flurry dies are now out of stock. The birthday greeting on the right is from the Celebrating You stamp set (annual catalog)
The Starry Sky stitched circle is 3" around; a die-cut from the Stylish Shapes dies seen here. They are also out of stock right now! Sheesh! I picked popular items for this card, didn't I?
I thought I'd highlight a few of my past projects featuring them.
The bundle is retiring in about 2 weeks; it's while supplies last. The Splendid Stems dies seen here are currently marked down to $13.60 from $34. The Open Leaf trinkets are marked down from $8 to $3.20. See them here. I can't believe they're still available at these prices!
This gorgeous Splendid Day specialty designer paper seen here is now just $6, marked down from $15. The Soft Sea Foam seam binding ribbon is super thin and soft. It's super easy to work with. It's also on sale, while supplies last, for just $3.20. See it here.
Cottage Wreaths gift treat bag with video; easy and uses your DSP too!
I shared this cute project on a FB Live video a few weeks ago. It features the Country Wreaths bundle and the Santa Express designer paper. Here's the link to the video.
The Cottage Wreaths bundle is carrying over into January. See it here.
Look at the wreaths above; they're each unique, showing how much variety there is in the stamp set & dies.
The left is mostly die-cuts with an additional bow & berries added. The right has the stamped wreath over the die-cut green wreath. The bow is die-cut from Red glimmer paper. So many options!
I started with a piece of DSP at 5 1/2" X 8 1/2". Score at 1 1/4" with the short edge at the top. Then with the long edge at the top score at 2", 4", 6" & 8" up to that first score line. Tip: You're only scoring the bottom of this bag.
Crease on the score lines and glue together. *watch the video to see how.
