Happy Birthday to You; a free stamp set!

Have you seen this pretty stamp set yet? The cake on a pedestal image is quite pretty and easy to color too.

And guess what?! They are releasing a set of die-cuts for this set next month! It includes 7 dies including one for the entire cake, just the flowers, a detailed pedestal and two sets of leaves. It will be for purchase; it's not part of Sale-a-Bration. There are 6 new items they'll release on February 4th that coordinate with items in the new Mini catalog and Sale-a-Bration catalog. I'll share more on that soon.

This pretty card has a bit of the Parisian Blossoms Designer Series Paper on the edge; it brings together the soft colors of Pool Party, Petal Pink and White. It's a bonus card for those who take my New Catalog stamp a stack class on January 25th.

That detailed scalloped rectangle is from my favorite new set of dies; Stitched So Sweetly. It's one of the best things in the new Mini Catalog!

I colored the cake with Blends markers in Petal Pink, Pool Party and Mint Macaron. The greeting is stamped in Smoky Slate. Note the addition of the Champagne Rhinestones and Petal Pink/Champagne ribbon!

Pretty is the word for the Hand Penned suite!

This is one of the first cards I made with the Hand-Penned suite. I chose to use the Soft Succulent card base with Fresh Freesia and So Saffron accents.

That pretty paper is called Hand-Penned Designer Paper seen here on page 131 of the new Annual catalog. It features so many soft, beautiful colors. People are loving it so much I will likely feature it for a kit to go in June.

I used the Painted Labels dies for the neat circle die-cut and the Fresh Freesia scalloped trim is from the Hand-Penned Petals Bundle. Click here to see the bundle.

Sweet Ice Cream Fun Fold card with video tutorial

We made this special fun fold card at last month's Card Clubs. See how it latches on the punched ice cream piece?

I used the Sweet Ice Cream bundle and the Ice Cream Corner Designer Paper seen here. This DSP is retiring in June; if you like it get it now while you can. The cones on this card are punched from the designer paper itself. No need to stamp them when the paper is perfect! The card stock is Cinnamon Cider with Blackberry Bliss and Old Olive.

You can mix & match the designer papers for a nice variety of cards. I used Blackberry Bliss, Pear Pizzazz and Cinnamon Cider ink, stamping off first for the solid ice cream images.

The Sweet Ice Cream bundle is available now in the Spring catalog. This set & punch are carrying over into the current Annual catalog but they are no longer a bundle at 10% off. Save $$ and get them now at a discount.
