Gorgeous cards in the Enjoy the Moment card kit or tutorial

I knew I wanted to feature this pretty designer paper called Enjoy the Journey for a card kit to go but I wasn't sure quite how or where to start!

But once I decided to go with scenic and silhouette cards they came together wonderfully!  *this dsp is also available free with a $50 Stampin' Up! order through February.

I am thrilled with these cards; they're gorgeous!  I included quite a few fancy folds too. 

The kit to go  includes 1/2 pkg. (6" X 12") of the Enjoy the Journey DSP, a share of both 3 twine combo and black matte dots, 10 envelopes, the pre-cut cards including die-cut & punched pieces and you'll receive the PDF tutorial free.  

I also have the PDF tutorial only available if you do not want the pre-cut kit.  However the kit is the best deal; you receive $20 in product (before tax & shipping) plus the 10 pre-cut cards for just $28!  

Opt in here for the card kit by February 19 to get it.  Or choose the PDF tutorial here instead.  This kit is mailed out at the end of February via Priority Mail.  The PDF tutorial will be send to you via email immediately after payment.

*You will need the following to complete your cards:

  • Black ink and greeting images (I used Happy Labels)

    This colorful paper including the flowers is all the designer paper; there is nothing raised or popped up here except the tags.  The die-cuts in the background are from the bundle seen here.

    This next card shows off the Masterfully Made designer paper wonderfully.  It looks like it's many strips of torn paper.

    They did stamp on it with one of the images in the bundle; heat embossing in White.

  • Fabulous Gone Fishing bundle swap cards

    Father's Day is coming up Sunday and the Gone Fishing bundle is perfect for the occasion.  

    I received two swap cards on the cruise and thought you'd like to see them.  First is my friend Susie Wood's card.  Her style is similar to mine and we often share cards with each other. My husband and I spent time with her and her husband Deke on the cruise; not enough but we both treasure our friendship so much! Check out her fabulous blog here.  She is super creative and a master at fun folds.

  • Marvelous Nature Ombre technique with video tutorial

    Today I'm sharing the other card I made during Tuesday's video.  Both featured the new set called Marvelous Nature.

    I used an ombre technique where I inked the solid stamped image with three inks consecutively.  The top is Pool Party, the middle is Lost Lagoon and the bottom is Pretty Peacock.

    The greeting is from the set but I did use the Stylish Shapes dies for it and popped it up on Dimensionals.

    The card base is Lost Lagoon with two strips of Pretty Peacock under the main image.  As you can see by the photo below the left card is lighter than the right one.  In the video I went over the upper part of the image one more time using the Stamparatus; mostly so I could get a more solid, complete image.
