Garden Walk & Heartfelt Hexagons; a perfect match up for this kit to go!

For one of my pre-cut card kits to go this month (December) I chose the Garden Walk 6 X 6" designer paper.  It includes a wide variety of beautiful patterns. The pretty designer paper provides a great start to these 10 eye catching cards; 2 are fun fold designs.  Each design has a second layout option – one is vertical and the other landscape.

The tutorial is emailed to you immediately after payment. The card kit is mailed out via Priority Mail at the end of December. 

You will need stamps, ink, adhesives and a paper trimmer to cut your new designer paper.  I design my kits so you can easily substitute your own greetings.

  • Artfully Layered birthday card with video

    Here's another pretty card I made during last week's FB Live. I featured the Artfully Layered bundle from the Jan-June Stampin' Up! catalog.  

    Artfully Layered leaf Save

    The colors include Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green with White.  I used three different dies in the Tropical Layers dies.  The rick-rack border, the leaf and the crosshatch texture. See the bundle here.   

    ARTFULLY LAYERED BUNDLE (ENGLISH) Save

    The greeting is heat embossed on the Coastal Cabana CS strip using White embossing powder.  Adding heat embossing to your project steps it up a lot!

    Tip: get two colors from one ink pad. Note the two shades of Coastal Cabana on the leaves on the lower left of the card?  I stamped off for the multiple leaves image once for a lighter hue.

    Yesterday was my weekly Facebook Live where I shared 3 projects featuring the Kite Delight stamp set in the 2022 January-June mini catalog. This cute stamp set is NOT coming back in the new Stampin' Up! Annual catalog.  See it here. 

    I added all of the upcoming new In Colors to this card! 

    Kite Delight in colors Save

    The clouds are heat embossed on the Balmy Blue CS using White embossing powder.  The clouds are an outline stamp but I wanted to fill them in to look 'white'.  So I used my Chalk Marker to color them in and love the effect!  I am so sad to report that this neat Chalk Marker was on the retiring list and is already sold out.  You could use White craft ink or White chalk pastels and color it in too. 

    The kite is stamped on White CS using Black Memento ink and colored in with the NEW In Color Blends markers. I fussy cut it and added to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. 

    Kite Delight Save

    I stamped the sun image on a scrap of Daffodil Delight CS using Daffodil Delight ink and fussy cut it.  There is not a punch or dies to coordinate with this stamp set, but I didn't mind fussy cutting the kites or sun.  Easy to do!
