Fun Summery card swaps by my Team

This week I've been sharing our July card swaps made by my Flowerbug's Team.  Our theme was thank you cards without flowers.

Roxann made this adorable card with the Round we Go bundle:

See the Round we Go bundle here. Her background paper is from the Country Woods DSP seen here. Her colors are Smoky Slate, Petal Pink and Pool Party with White. What a fun and eye-catching card!

Lori made this one with the Spotlight on Nature dies and the Butterfly Paper Accents seen here.

Unfortunately the Spotlight on Nature dies are unavailable again – this must be the third time since they were released! Her colors include Crumb Cake, Pretty in Pink and Summer Splash with White. The amazing Dotted Circles 3D embossing folder is featured on her background.  Love how it fits so perfectly with the circles! It's in low inventory but you can see that here.

Candy made this beautiful card with the Sketched Butterfly bundle seen here.

I love her soft colors of Lost Lagoon with Smoky Slate, Black and Very Vanilla.  She used Lost Lagoon & Smoky Slate Blends markers to color that pretty butterfly. She also used the dark Lost Lagoon blends marker to color her Black & Very Vanilla large check ribbon.

Tomorrow I'll post the last of the July Team swaps.

Did you know that my Paper Pumpkin subscribers get a ton of alternate ideas every single month?!  So if it's tags like this month, you can look forward to receiving fabulous card ideas, treat projects and possibly a scrapbook layout too! Subscribe here.

Or purchase a pre-paid subscription here.  Choose from 1, 3 or 6 month plans.

Here's one of my alternative idea for the Ho Ho Ho kit.  I used one of the die-cut pieces in the kit to sponge snowflakes onto the card base.  Almost all of the rest of it is from the kit!  It's so fun to play with the elements and come up with something new.

  • Sweet Candy Canes card; unique Christmas color combo

Hey; I can add photos today!  Here's a project from my stamp a stack class we held last weekend.

It features the Sweet Candy Canes bundle seen here.

The colors are Real Red & Coastal Cabana.  I used the Timber 3D embossing folder for the background texture; stamping the leaves before embossing.

The greeting piece is a simple rectangle but I rounded the ends with a circle punch!

  • Boughs of Holly suite & video

Update on blog issues: I am still unable to add photos to my blog so I have to settle for sharing products or videos with you.  I sure hope they fix this soon!

Click here to watch a video featuring the Boughs of Holly suite; it seems to be a big favorite of many. As of today everything in this suite is available; although the Distressed Gold paper is on low inventory.
