Fun Origami Folded Window cards for FB Live Monday!

Have you made an origami folded window?  They're so easy to do!  I'll be making cards like these on Monday night's FB Live 'Stamp with Me' here.

How does 'Stamp with Me' work?  I share the projects a few days before the Live to give you time to prep your pieces.  You use the paper, stamps & ink you have to stamp right along with me!

You'll start with a 4" square of Designer Paper.  I chose to use the Berry Delightful paper from the Sale-a-Bration catalog.

Then you draw an X in the center. Do this by placing a ruler from corner to corner.  Draw a line.  Do the same once more on the other corners.  This X is where you will bring the DSP point up to.  Press well and then fold back the tip to the fold. Do this on all corners!

It looks like the tip hangs off the corner but it doesn't. I added a layer to some of these measuring 3" square.  If you add a stamped layer inside that is 2 3/4" square.

The stamps are from the Berry Blessings stamp set; it comes with this super fun designer paper in a bundle.  It's FREE with a $100 order through February 28th.  If you place an order to earn this bundle you'll also receive a free 10 cards kit from me for my 12 X 12" one sheet wonder. See it here.

  • Cute Pick a Season & Spring Corners card

We made these adorable cards at my Clubs in January.  The new Pick a Season Sale-a-Bration set is super fun!

You can add multiple items in the tree branches like hearts, flowers, eggs (Easter) or 4-leaf clovers.  Or use any other stamps you may have to customize your tree. The Pick a Season set is free with any $60 order through the end of February during our Sale-a-Bration promotion.

My colors are Melon Mambo with Granny Apple Green and a bit of Pecan Pie on the tree trunk.

I paired it with the Spring Corners stamp set seen here.  It is available in a bundle as well.

I love the multiple corner images and the sweet greetings in this set!

I created a free project sheet you can print or download. Click on this link to access it. Download Pick a Season Jan 25

*Below is the video for this card and another fun fold card using the Spring Corners set.  I'll share that tomorrow.

  • January Hearts for You alternative card idea

Today I'm sharing an alternative project I made with the January Hearts for You Paper Pumpkin kit.

Everything you see here is in the kit. The only thing I added was a Real Red Blends marker that I used to change the color of the champagne foil heart to Red.  It's fun to experiment a bit!

Below you'll see the 9 projects recommended in the kit.  They're gorgeous as is but I like to show alternative ideas just in case you want to get creative with the products.  It is really fun to change things up at times.

Once you're a Paper Pumpkin customer you can choose to get any of the extra refills or add on items. The refills do not include the stamps or ink spot but everything else!  And they're usually only $12. Wow!  See this one here

Subscribe to Paper Pumpkin here.  Or purchase a pre-paid subscription here.

Sale-a-Bration is a fabulous time to get a pre-paid subscription since you can earn free SAB choices!  I do this every year at this time!

  • A unique fun fold card swap with Hugs for Love with Bloom Impressions

Tracey made this stunning card for our January Team card swap.  I love her colors and layout so much!

Her card layout was inspired by Rachel Tessman and chose to use a Petunia Pop with Blackberry Bliss color combination.

She featured the Hugs for Love bundle and the Bloom Impressions designer series paper (free during Sale-a-Bration with a qualifying purchase from Stampin' Up!  See this gorgeous paper here.

It's hard to tell in the photo above that it's a fancy fold card isn't it?

The right flap tucks under the diagonal Designer Paper and To the Point greeting punches.

The measurements for the card base is 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" score at 1 1/4" (fold back) and 5 1/2".  Both front flaps are textured.

Below is the Hugs for Love bundle that includes the To the Point punch.  I love, love this punch so much!  *heads up; this punch is now in low inventory; grab it while you can!

There's another stamp set that coordinates with this fabulous punch too.  It's called Bright Borders.
