Friends for Life cards; a quick layout you’ll love. Check out the free project sheet & video too

Today I'm sharing an eye-catching card made with the Friends for Life bundle.  I think they're fabulous if I do say so myself!

Friends for Life cards Save

They feature the Friends for Life bundle seen here.  I also used two more favorites – the Spotlight on Nature dies and the Dotted Circles 3D embossing folder.  *Click on each title to see them in my store. 

The unique Designer paper is the Full of Life 6 X 6" paper seen here.  I love it so much; it includes bright bursts of colorful patterns filled with watercolor type prints.  *my free tutorial of the month features this suite!  See below. 

June Club Friends for life. Save

The measurements are so simple. I cut the 6" DSP down to 5 1/4" X 6" and then cut that into two pieces – one for each card. I then textured it with the Dotted 3D embossing folder and added it to a narrow strip of coordinating card stock on the left side. 

All that's left is to add the layered circles and friend die-cut. 

I matched the DSP with coordinating card stock. The card above is Night of Navy and this card below is Shaded Spruce.

  • Beautiful Sunrise Sailing card with multiple techniques and free project sheet

    Today is the last day of the June Specials:

    Today I'm sharing one of my June Club cards.  It's super fun to make because we did multiple techniques.

    Sunrise Sailing club. Save

    I showcased the Sunrise Sailing bundle seen here.  I love the stamp images AND the dies in this bundle.  They're wonderful and really spark creativity. 

    SUNRISE SAILING BUNDLE (ENGLISH) Save

    My colors include Pool Party, White and Pecan Pie. The Hybrid embossing folder in this bundle allows you to get a textured sailboat – you can cut & texture all at once!  Watch the video to see how it's done.  

    Notice the textured clouds in the sky. I rubbed my White Craft ink pad directly on the textured Pool Party card stock.  I show how in the video below.  I also added Pool Party ink to the textured waves on the bottom of the card using a blending brush. 

    Sunrise Sailing June club Save

    Look at the loop of Linen Thread on the greeting above.  This was a fun & easy way to add something else that is a bit nautical.

  • Sunshine Vibes interlocking accordion card; wow!

    I'm so excited to share this incredible fancy fold card with you.  Lori went above and beyond for this one!

    Measurements:

    • Base 12" X 6 1/2" score at 4" and 8", 2nd piece 5 1/2" X 4 1/2" score at 1/2". These are overlapped to create the length. 
    • Accordion is 8 1/2" X 3 1/4" score at 2 3/4" & 5 1/2", 2nd piece is 9" X 3 1/4" score at 2 3/4", 5 1/2" & 8 1/2"
    • Designer Paper – 6 pieces at 2 1/2" X 3", 4 pieces at 3 3/4" X 5 1/4" 
    • Front – Basic White arch 3" X 4 1/4", DSP arch 3 1/4" X 4 1/2"
    • Ribbon – 21" long
