Fast & Easy Men’s cards; a kit to go option while supplies last

Let's face it, most of us are drawn to either cute or floral stamps.  So when it comes to cards for men we struggle!  But our men need cards too, right? I can certainly help you build your stash of masculine cards. Look at these:

Stock up on men's cards the fast & easy way; with this fabulous kit to go! No stamping needed!  You'll love making them with my step by step directions and the products included in the kit.

I have a limited number of these kits available now; much of this product is retiring.

There are 12 cards with envelopes in this kit!   You'll receive 1/2 pkg of Come Sail Away Memories & More cards pack and Memories & More cards and envelopes plus a pre-cut kit needed to complete your cards.  It also includes one package of Basic Brads, two spools of twine (Navy & Navy/Sahara Sand) and a few Sail Away trinkets.

You will need a few inks (Balmy Blue, Night of Navy & Yellow) for sponging along with mini glue dots, dimensionals and liquid adhesive.

The written tutorial is included and will be emailed directly upon payment.  The cards kit will be mailed out at the end of May.

There are two choices here; one includes product and pre-cut pieces shipped to you and the other is a pdf tutorial that is emailed to you.  Purchase using the links below.

**If you want BOTH of my May card kits to go please email or message me for a combined shipping price.  See the Quick & Cute May cards here. You can see them both on the links below.

  • How to use the Sophisticated Sled bundle with free project sheet

We made this pretty card at my December card clubs.  It features the Sophisticated Sled bundle from our Online Exclusives line.

I chose White with Boho Blue as my color combination.  The sled is die-cut from the Country Woods DSP. I also used the Painted Trees embossing folder seen here.  I added a bit of Wink of Stella to the trees.

I used stamps from the bundle for the greetings & snowflakes.

Before I played with the dies I thought they would be difficult to assemble.  But they're a breeze!  I hope you watch the video below for my tips. The skates are genius!  The laces slip into a slit in the skate die-cut for easy assembly.

    See this gorgeous bundle here.

Here's the free project sheet for this card. Click on the following link to print or download it. Download Sophisticated Sled Dec 24

Below is the video tutorial for this project.  Plus check out the fun fold card using upcoming products too!

  • The Color Coach is back!

If you struggle with coordinating colors the Color Coach can help.  It provides multiple ways to find the perfect combinations.

The Color Coach is Stampin' Up!'s version of the color wheel and is based on color theory—the combination of art and science that determines what colors look good together.

One side of the Color Coach has all current Stampin’ Up! colors (except Neutrals) laid out with a spinning wheel in the center. This center wheel gives you monochromatic, complementary, analogous, and triadic information about our colors. The back explains each of these concepts, plus our range of neutral colors.

It's $12.50 and can be seen here.

For example who would think Pretty Peacock and Pumpkin Pie would go together so well?  They're on the edge of complimentary colors but work wonderfully!

Below is a sample of an Analogous color combination.  SU created designer papers with shades of similar colors using our Full of Life DSP in the Annual Catalog.

    Have a great weekend!

  • Adorable Card swaps featuring the Otterly Amazing suite

Today I'm sharing swaps that feature the adorable Otterly Amazing suite from our recent release of Online Exclusives.

First is a card made by Kelly Acheson.

The placement of her DSP is unique and leaves room for the cute swimming fish at the bottom.  She used the coordinating stamp & dies for her otter, coloring it with Blends markers.  Her colors include Crumb Cake and Early Espresso.

Next is a fun fold card by Tracy Jacobs.

She made a cut on her card base and adhered the right side down which allowed the left side to open.  Her colors include Gray Granite with White.

Measurements – card base 4 1/4" X 11" score at 5 1/2". At the bottom right cut to the score line at the 1" mark.  the DSP and inside White layer are 3" X 5 1/4".  The punch is the Modern Oval punch from the Annual Catalog.

Lastly we have a sweet card made by Julie Davison.

Her colors include Old Olive, Early Espresso, Balmy Blue & Calypso Coral. She cut the otter from the Otterly Amazing DSP seen here.  Her circle punches and angled DSP add a bit of playfulness that matches up with the jumping otter.

    See this suite here online.
