Fantastic Team swaps with Botanical Textures suite

Today I have three fantastic swaps made by my Flowerbug's Team; all featuring the Botanical Textures suite from our online store.  Did you know we have a huge selection of items that are not seen in any printed catalog?  They're called Online Exclusives and you can see them all here.  

This first card was made by Kim for her Card Club swap.  I had to share it with you because I thought it was so neat.  She used Black, White and Lemon Lime Twist.

Her stamped images are from the Textured Notes stamp set.  The cute hexagon gems are new and seen in our 2025-26 Annual Catalog.  

Next is a fabulous fancy fold card made by Rita. She also used this same Botanical Textures DSP along with Petunia Pop card stock.

She used the Bright Borders stamp set and the To the Point punch. This punch has been out of stock for months!  I hope it comes back soon.  It is expected around June 2nd.

The card base is 11" X 5 1/2".  It's scored at 1 3/4", 3 1/2", 5 1/4" & 7".  Then it's trimmed horizontally at 1" from the upper and lower edges but only from the 1 3/4" and 5 1/4" score lines. 

The DSP is 6 3/4" X 5 1/4".  

It looks like she adhered the DSP and then cut the slits open with a paper trimmer.  So cool!  No difficulty measuring your layers  when you do it this way.

Lastly today is Ginny's card made with the Woven Textures DSP and the Textured Notes bundle.  I love these products; one of my favorites from the online store!

Her colors include Early Espresso and Crumb Cake.  She used five different dies from the Textured Notes dies!  I especially like the frame in the center, highlighting that pretty DSP.

  • Neat Double Decker pop-up card with measurements

    Today I'm sharing a new pop-up fold – at least it's new to me!  It's called a Double Decker pop up. 

    Masterfully Made 5 Save

    Measurements: 

    • White card base 8 ½” X 5 ½” scored at 2 1/8” & 4 ¼”
    • White inside pop-up box – 3 ½” square scored at ¾”, 1 ½”, 2 ¼” and 3”
    • Front textured piece 1 7/8” X 5 ¼”
    • Scalloped White inside die-cut is 3 1/8” X 4 ½”
    • Fresh Freesia is 2 ¾” X 3 ¾”
    • Designer Paper – 2 pieces per card; 2 ½” X 3 ½” & 4” X 5 ¼”

    MASTERFULLY MADE 12" X 12" (30.5 X 30.5 CM) DESIGNER SERIES PAPER Save

    The inside 'box' that pops up the scalloped rectangle layer is adhered to both the side and back of the card.  It folds flat when mailing but sure adds nice dimension when the card is opened.

  • One Horse Open Sleigh Spanner fun fold card

    I was surprised to see the One Horse Open Sleigh designer paper back in stock.  It was unavailable last week but it's back now.  I featured it in one of my July card kits to go.  See it here online.

    ONE HORSE OPEN SLEIGH 6" X 6" (15.2 X 15.2 CM) DESIGNER SERIES PAPER Save

    This designer paper is so pretty; it's filled with beautiful scenes and soft prints. 

    It's called a spanner card because of it's unique fold – the horizontal layer spans the card from side to side.

    I added a few die-cut trees on the right side.  I colored them with Blends markers – adding brown and Gray Granite to the white. The greeting is from the Lasting Joy stamp set. 

    The Gray Granite card base is a simple 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4".  Then you cut up to the score line at the 1 1/4" mark on front; on both sides. 

    I added designer paper to the center panel and also to both side panels.  The horizontal piece 'spans' under the to side panels like this:

    Measurements:

    • Card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4".  Cut up to the score line at 1 1/4". 
    • Horizontal layer 5 1/2" X 1"
    • Designer paper 2 3/4" X 4" and two pieces 1" X 4" for the sides.
