Fabulous card made with the Slim Card dies; they’re 50% off!

This is one of the cards we made at my May card clubs. It features the Slim Sayings bundle in the retiring Jan-June catalog by Stampin' Up!

Sun Prints Slimline Save

My card base is White and I added a piece of Sun Prints Designer Paper behind the chevron die-cut.  Scroll down for measurements and the video too. 

Did you know we have Slimline Envelopes that perfectly match these dies and a typical slim line card?  They carried over into the new Annual Catalog too.  They come in 3 colors; White, Smoky Slate & Soft Succulent. See them here.

I used the Slim Saying stamp set along with the Nature's Prints bundle from the new 2022-23 Annual Catalog.  See the Slim Saying stamp set here and the Nature's Prints bundle here. 

At club they chose either a birthday card or a graduation card; it works for both. And some made theirs into a wedding or anniversary card!

Measurements:
White card base 8 1/2" X 7 1/4" scored at 3 5/8", White for die-cut 3 1/2" X 8 1/2", greeting 4 1/2" X 5/8"
• Soft Succulent for greeting layer 3/4" X 4 1/2" & scrap for leaf die-cut
• Smoky Slate scrap for fern die-cut
• DSP 8 3/8" X 3 3/8"

    I had a request to do a video for it so I featured it in this week's Stamp with Me Live on Monday night. If you aren't following me on FB here's the link to my page. 

    Here is the card made with the Peaceful Prints DSP in the Sale-a-Bration catalog seen here.  Right now it's FREE with a $50 order during Stampin' Up!'s Sale-a-Bration promotion. It coordinates with the Peaceful Deer bundle.  I punched the deer on the front panel right from this paper!

    The card on the above right is made with the Peaceful Prints specialty DSP.  I added a few wreaths cut from the Seasonal Swirl dies – one in Black and one in Silver.

  • Pretty Pumpkins with Be Dazzling specialty paper

    After seeing other projects with the Pretty Pumpkin bundle I had to get it.  I love the images and the font in the greetings.

    I stamped the large pumpkin image in Pumpkin Pie ink and colored them and the leaves with Blends markers using both Pumpkin Pie & Olive markers plus light Crumb Cake for the stem & light Cajun Craze for the darkest areas on the pumpkins.

    I was playing around with the Be Dazzling specialty paper and decided to try to color it.  I had a spritzer filled with rubbing alcohol & either Pumpkin Pie or Cajun Craze ink refill.  So I spritzed it on to a piece of the glittery paper.  It worked beautifully!  I did have to let it sit for a few minutes to set well.  Then I rubbed it with tissue to get any excess off before I die-cut the pretty filigree pumpkin with it.  

    I also spritzed my White twine to color it as well.
