Diamond Gatefold fun fold card with Season of Green & Gold specialty paper – video too!

On last week's Live video I created this beautiful fun fold card. It shows off both sides of our double sided designer paper beautifully!

I chose to feature the stunning Season of Green & Gold specialty designer series paper seen here online. It's filled with shades of green with gold foil accents and is part of our Online product line.

I cased my friend Susie Wood who made the card on the left below:

She used the Regal Flora designer paper in Cherry Cobbler with Blackberry Bliss. So very pretty! Find more projects by my talented friend from Iowa here on her blog.

Details:

The pretty gold die-cut is from the Peaceful Season bundle seen here.
The greeting is from the Something Fancy stamp set seen here
The leaf die-cuts are from the Delicate Forest dies seen here

Look at the extra details inside too. Wedding cards are fun because you can go over the top a bit! This gorgeous card will be given to my youngest son who's getting married this week. I'm so thrilled for him and his fiance'. We're excited to welcome her into our family!

It used a pieces of designer paper measuring 12" X 5 1/4" that is adhered to a card base of 4 1/4" X 5 1/2". It's scored at 2", 4", 8" and 10". Then the corners are folded down. Here's the simple template I drew:

All Aflutter envelope-flap style card with free project sheet & video

This neat fun fold card was created for my June card clubs. I call it an envelope flap closure.

My colors include Darling Duckling, Blueberry Bushel with White. Wonderfully bright for summer! I used quite a few products here so I’ll list them for you.
- All Aflutter stamp and dies bundle seen here
- Darling Duckling 12 X 12″ Two-toned card stock
- Irresistible specialty designer paper seen here
- Lazy Daisy & Floral Spray 3D embossing folders
- 1 3/4″ and 2″ circle punches
- Blending Brushes
- a sanding block

The Irresistible designer paper is cut into a 3 3/4″ square and scored in the center diagonally. It’s adhered to the back of the Blueberry Bushel card base before that is adhered to the larger Darling Duckling CS.

There are three patterns in this specialty Irresistible designer paper you can see here. When you add ink to this specialty paper it reveals the white shiny pattern.

After we textured the 2-toned Darling Duckling card stock we sanded it with a sanding block (from my husband’s shop) to reveal more of the White core.
