Daisy Garden with Picture This dies

Yesterday I shared a card featuring the Daisy Garden stamp set and today it's a totally different type of card.

The colors are Fresh Freesia, Black & White.  The daisy stamp peeks out from behind the window die cut circles made with the Picture This dies on a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of Black CS.  Can you see the stitches?

These dies include both a large set of circles and another with three rectangles.  You can use the windows like shown above or the die cut circles or rectangles which I used here for the greeting.

Check out the Picture This dies here.

And here is another way to use these dies; with Designer Paper behind the window.  It's the gorgeous Expressions in Ink Specialty Designer Paper seen here; it was unavailable for almost a month.  And it was in stock for a week but it's unavailable again now until early August.  It's so popular!

  • Simple fun fold card with Wildflower Designs with video & free project sheet

I shared two cards featuring the Wildflower Designs bundle in last week's video. Here's one of them:

Can you see the simple but different card layout here? The back of the card is a full 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" layer. The Lost Lagoon folded card is 8" X 5 1/4" scored at 4".  So easy but unique too.

I wanted to use Pretty in Pink with a current color and chose Lost Lagoon to pair with it.  I think they work beautifully together.

What do you think of the new Dashing Designs embossing folder? I love it!

The Wildflower Designs bundle can be seen here.  I love the stamp set a lot but the dies won me over. There's so many possibilities with them!

I made the card on the right below first.  Then tried it again for the left card.  Can you spot the difference?

When I made this card for our Team swap my first one did not include the frame.  Otherwise they're the same. Which do you prefer?

Watch the video below; it's the first project I share.

  • NEAT Center Pop-up Fun Fold card with video & free project sheet

I hope you're enjoying your holiday weekend.  We are having a quiet one at home, getting yard work done and also enjoying time off together. We've had lovely rain lately. The grass is green and I hope my garden takes off once the weather warms up a bit.

On last week's Live I made a super neat fun fold card.  This photo shows the card front which starts out as a gatefold card.

I chose the Wildflower Designs bundle because it seems to have everything I like in a bundle – florals & botanicals, lovely greetings and wonderful dies too.

The designer paper is the Country Woods seen here.  It's currently unavailable as they ran out of stock. But it should be back within a week or so.  That pretty die-cut circle is from the Spotlight on Nature dies seen here.  Love these dies so much!

Here's what it look like open:

I was inspired by two of my team members to try this fun fold card layout.  I thought it looked quite complicated but they assured me it wasn't.  They were right!  It was just a few extra score and cut lines. I hope you'll watch the video below to see how it's done.

The center dies are included in the Wildflower Designs bundle seen here.  All of these patterns are included in the Country Woods designer series paper pack. No wonder it's already sold out!

Compare these cards; I changed both the front and the inside.

Watch the video below; it's the second project I share. I'll share the first card in a day or two.

  • Last set of swaps made by my Team using the new In Colors

Here are the last of this month's Team swaps:

Mary made this pretty card using two new In Colors – Petunia Pop & Summer Splash.

She used the new Unbounded Love bundle and the Unbounded Beauty designer paper.  The bundle is not available right now and the DSP is in low inventory. Popular items for sure!! The embossing folder is Distress Tile 3D.

    Measurements:

    • White card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" score/fold at 4 1/4".
    • Petunia Pop 5 1/4" X 4" & 3 1/2" X 2 3/4"
    • Summer Splash 5" X 3 3/4"
    • DSP 3 1/4" X 2 1/2"

Rita made this cute card with the 2024-26 In Color designer paper.

Her card base is White as is her textured layer although it's hard to see here.  She added a Nested Essentials DSP die-cut vertically that adds some fun interest to the card.

Lastly is Paula's pretty card; she used the same colors and designer papers as Mary's card above. Petunia Pop is beautiful with Summer Splash.

She used the Unbounded Beauty suite here; see it on page 54 of your new Annual catalog. It starts out as a center gate-fold card but turns into so much more when you open it!

It's a center fold pop up card!  I was amazed by it and thought it looked super hard to make.  She assured me it wasn't so I took on the challenge and made one on my Tuesday Live video seen here.

Isn't this an amazing card?  It looks so challenging to make!

I'm not going to share measurements for this card today since it's very similar to the card I shared on the Tuesday video.  I will post the video & free project sheet for my card on Monday.

Thank you so much for the inspiration & encouragement Paula.  You were right; this card was easier than I thought!
