Creative Cards Simple Sketch #CC2

Get inspired by sketches! You can find them everywhere online; especially on Pinterest. Just search for card sketches and you'll be amazed at the great layouts you'll come up with.

I've started a weekly challenge with my Flowerbug's Team where I share a card sketch or color challenge. I'm calling them Creative Cards or #CC. Here's the one we did last week:

I chose to use the Playing with Patterns designer paper and a new product that's coming out to everyone in March. It's called Butterfly Bouquet and it has gorgeous Designer Paper and a beautiful stamp & dies bundle. The stamp & dies will be out in the upcoming 2021 Annual Catalog in May. But they're releasing it early in March!

Demonstrators can order it now in February. On the card above I used mostly the DSP with just one purple die-cut. The greeting is from one of my favorite greeting sets; Happy Thoughts.

Seriously the Best Cards with Golden Honey Folio gift pouch & video

I chose to use the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Paper for my color inspiration. It's Black, White with Gold foil accents. Measurements and details are below.

As you can see I made a few cards with just black, white and gold. Then I added color on the other with Melon Mambo & used just the black and white DSP. You can add any of your favorite colors to this pretty paper; Black and White is just the beginning!

Here are the measurements for the folio pouch and cards.
- Folio is 8 1/2" X 11". Score on the long side at 5 1/4" and 5 3/4". Score on the short side at 6 1/2".
- DSP on the front is 4 1/2" X 5 3/4" and the white layer is 4 5/8" X 6"
- Cards measure 4 1/4" X 9"; scored at 5 1/2". DSP is 3 1/4" X 4" and 1 7/8" X 4".

Positive Thoughts; This or That?

I did have trouble getting a good photo of the actual colors on this one. I added Petal Pink/Champagne ribbon and Champagne rhinestones to this one. I cannot resist adding these when I can. They're beautiful!

Pleased as Punch Cards kit to go; bright and springy!

For February I chose to feature the new Pleased as Punch designer paper for my cards kit to go. It's bright and springy and coordinates with 4 of our newest punches! The Tulip, Umbrella, Heart Punch pack and new Blossom punches are the four.

I absolutely love these cards! All of the 5 designs are unique fun fold cards which are always a delight to create and fun for the recipient. Here's a photo of the Pleased as Punch designer paper; available now!

*You do not need to own the punches to complete these cards. They are easy to fussy cut!

I used the following inks: Gorgeous Grape, Balmy Blue and Calypso Coral.
