Cottage Wreaths gift treat bag with video; easy and uses your DSP too!

I shared this cute project on a FB Live video a few weeks ago.  It features the Country Wreaths bundle and the Santa Express designer paper.  Here's the link to the video.

Look at the wreaths above; they're each unique, showing how much variety there is in the stamp set & dies.  

The left is mostly die-cuts with an additional bow & berries added.  The right has the stamped wreath over the die-cut green wreath.  The bow is die-cut from Red glimmer paper. So many options!

I started with a piece of DSP at 5 1/2" X 8 1/2". Score at 1 1/4" with the short edge at the top.  Then with the long edge at the top score at 2", 4", 6" & 8" up to that first score line.  Tip: You're only scoring the bottom of this bag. 

Crease on the score lines and glue together.  *watch the video to see how.

  • Eden’s Garden card in fresh colors

    The Eden's Garden collection is featured in greens, gold & white.  See it here.

    Well I thought I'd play with purple, green & white for this pretty card.  

    Eden's Garden grape Save

    I stamped the images in Old Olive & Gorgeous Grape along one side of the card. Then I textured it with the Timeless Type 3D embossing folder.  Lastly I added a greeting on a Picture This die-cut. 

    Measurements: 

    • card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
    • White 3 3/4" X 5"
    • Old Olive 4" X 5 1/4"

    I love seeing what my Flowerbugs make for our monthly Team swaps.  Swaps are optional and fun for those who choose to join in.

    Today I'm sharing two cards; one birthday and one Christmas.

    First is Tammi's card made with the Biggest Wish stamp set & the Pattern Party designer paper.  If you're wondering where this paper is from it's a Hostess choice.  You can get it as part of your free products with an order over $150.  That's when hostess benefits kick in.

    She added a wrap of the Black glittered ribbon around her 4"X 5 1/4" card front which brings in the Black stamped images to coordinate.  Here DSP is 4" X 3".  

    Next up is Candy's pretty wreath card.  

    She used the Forever Fern stamp set to create a wreath stamping around a masked off circle in the center.  What a great way to use a stamp set that isn't even Christmas!

    I believe her colors are Real Red, Garden Green & Blackberry Bliss.  The greeting is from the Merriest Moments.  The corner accents are from the Detailed Trio punch. I love her itty bitty bow!

    Here are two more cards made by my talented Flowerbugs! Both used the Expressions in Ink suite. 

    Candace made this first one using a nice piece of the beautiful Expressions in Ink specialty DSP.  She stamped her greeting and leaves directly onto the DSP using Evening Evergreen ink.

    Then she stamped the large flower on a separate piece of White CS and die-cut it out using the Artistic Dies.  Lovely!

    Tracey made this one using just the Artistically Inked stamp set.  She stamped all of her images on the White CS and added that to a layer of textured White CS.  She used the Timber 3D embossing folder.

    You can see she added a bit of sponging to the embossed layer to really bring out the texture.
