Cottage Wreaths gift treat bag with video; easy and uses your DSP too!

I shared this cute project on a FB Live video a few weeks ago.  It features the Country Wreaths bundle and the Santa Express designer paper.  Here's the link to the video.

Look at the wreaths above; they're each unique, showing how much variety there is in the stamp set & dies.  

The left is mostly die-cuts with an additional bow & berries added.  The right has the stamped wreath over the die-cut green wreath.  The bow is die-cut from Red glimmer paper. So many options!

I started with a piece of DSP at 5 1/2" X 8 1/2". Score at 1 1/4" with the short edge at the top.  Then with the long edge at the top score at 2", 4", 6" & 8" up to that first score line.  Tip: You're only scoring the bottom of this bag. 

Crease on the score lines and glue together.  *watch the video to see how.

    I've been sharing the projects I made on last week's FB Live and this is the last one.  It's a pretty treat box that's actually quite easy to make.

    The box above features Pool Party, White & Black colors with a bird & flower accent.  The one below is in Fresh Freesia with Pool Party accents.

    Here are both together. I used the same stamps & Designer paper but look how different they are!  Black glittered ribbon vs sheer Pool Party ribbon also makes a difference in the overall look.

    Each box is filled with the following – Designer Paper in 6 X 12" size, at least 5 stamp sets and a stamp & die or punch bundle (or two), embellishments, punches, ribbons/twine, Blends markers, tools etc.  I also added a big bag of at least 15 cards & card fronts from swaps or my events.  

    Below is a sample of one of the 'boxes' before it was filled.  These are jam packed and the only 'stuffing' is some bubble wrap around the punches. *Product includes a few current and up to 7 years of retired.

  • Easy way to make a 3 panel card with the Friendly Hello Bundle

    I shared this pretty card on last week's FB Live.  It features the new Friendly Hello bundle.  The stamp set AND the 12 X 12" Designer Paper is free with any $100 order during our Sale-a-Bration promotion.

    These pretty colors include Pool Party, Fresh Freesia, Black & White.  I colored in the bird, flowers & leaves with Stampin' Blends markers. 

    My top favorite thing about Stampin' Up! is our coordinating colors.  The fact that everything matches & coordinates so effortlessly takes so much work out of the creative process!  I used to struggle so much to get things to match before I 'met' Stampin' Up!

    Measurements:

    • Pool Party card base 5 ½” X 8 ½”, White 4” X 5 ¼”
    • Evening Evergreen 2 7/8” X 1 ¾”.
    • DSP 3 pieces 1 3/4” X 5”, 1 7/8” X 3”, 1 7/8” square

    I stamped one of the images onto the edges of my inside layer; almost like a frame.  Love this added detail!
