Cottage Wreaths gift treat bag with video; easy and uses your DSP too!

I shared this cute project on a FB Live video a few weeks ago.  It features the Country Wreaths bundle and the Santa Express designer paper.  Here's the link to the video.

The Cottage Wreaths bundle is carrying over into January. See it here. 

Look at the wreaths above; they're each unique, showing how much variety there is in the stamp set & dies.  

The left is mostly die-cuts with an additional bow & berries added.  The right has the stamped wreath over the die-cut green wreath.  The bow is die-cut from Red glimmer paper. So many options!

I started with a piece of DSP at 5 1/2" X 8 1/2". Score at 1 1/4" with the short edge at the top.  Then with the long edge at the top score at 2", 4", 6" & 8" up to that first score line.  Tip: You're only scoring the bottom of this bag. 

Crease on the score lines and glue together.  *watch the video to see how.

  • A SMART way to use your 6 X 6″ paper with this neat fun fold card; video too!

    On yesterday's FB Live I shared three unique fun fold cards.  See that video here on my YouTube channel.  Be sure to subscribe too! 

    This card is probably my favorite fold.  It makes the BEST use of your 6 X 6" designer paper! 

    Butterfly Kisses tri fold . Save

    I chose to feature the Butterfly Kisses 6" DSP in the 2022 Annual Catalog by Stampin' Up! It's filled with bright colors & fun prints with printed butterflies you can cut out! 

    It coordinates with the Build a Butterfly dies and the Best Butterfly Bundle seen here. 

    I chose to use Starry Sky with White & Parakeet Party for my main colors.  The 'pull out' tag for the front is from the Tailor Made Tags dies seen here.

    For all of the cards in the video I featured the Charming Sentiments bundle seen here.  It's filled with great greeting images and lots of coordinating dies that cut them out perfectly!

  • Blessings of Home & Flowers of Home dies projects

    Look at this pretty card I made on last week's Facebook Live. 

    Blessings of Home Aug Save

    Lots of pretty details on this card:

    • Blessings of Home stamp set & Flowers of Home dies for the leaves
    • I used watercolor pencils & blender pen to color the floral image
    • the gold honeycomb sheet is from the Sweet Sunflower Paper Pumpkin kit; it was a free gift add on
    • I used the gold honeycomb sheet to add a pretty, blended background using Balmy Blue ink & a Blending Brush

    BLESSINGS OF HOME BUNDLE (ENGLISH) Save

    I made a second card using mostly the Flowers of Home dies.

    Blessings of Home both Save

    I cased the card from Sue Mohr; I thought it was simply elegant way to create a 'wreath' around the oval sentiment.  

    The oval dies are from the Fabulous Frames dies seen here.  When you cut out the oval it creates both the frame and the inside; two pieces with one die! 

    I textured the White layer with the Quatrefoil embossing folder seen here.  It's so pretty and works perfectly with these flower & leaves die-cuts.

    The colors I used are Balmy Blue, Pear Pizzazz, Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia.  

    Tip; when adding these delicate die-cuts use just a tiny but of Multipurpose Liquid glue.
