Corner DSP pop up fun fold card with video tutorial & free project sheet

I shared this card on last week's video and am happy to share it with you here today.  I also have a free project sheet below too. 

It features the Lovely Garden designer paper seen online here.

My card base is Melon Mambo with Black, White & Garden Green accents. The greeting is from the Layering Leaves stamp set and the Stylish Shapes dies. 

I made a second version during the video (seen here) in different colors.

The stitched die-cut I used on the DSP is from the new Textured Notes dies seen here.  I love these!  I bet they'll sell fast!

I fussy cut extra flowers to pop up over the printed flower in the DSP.

Here's the template for the DSP part of this card.  My generous friend Susie Wood shared this with me.

In the photo below you can see how this card opens. The DSP measures 6" side and 7 1/4" tall and is scored at 2" from the upper and left sides.  Then fold it at an angle matching up the score lines.  Watch the video below to understand this.

  • Summer Shadow dies & Shaded Summer; a beautiful pairing!

    I'm sharing our Flowerbug Team swaps featuring Sale-a-Bration choices. This amazing card was  created by Paula. 

    She used the Summer Shadow dies seen here along with the Shaded Summer stamp set. This stamp set is in the Annual Catalog on page 75 and the dies are a free choice during SAB/Sale-a-Bration. However remember that these dies are expected to sell out before the end of September when SAB ends.  See them here.

    This is also a fun fold card.  Her Black card is 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" and is scored at 2 1/8" X 4 1/4".  The front left panel is folded back.

    Look at the many layers of die-cuts she added here!  Lots of Vellum along with Polished Pink ink and Just Jade & Soft Succulent card stock & inks. Placing the die-cuts on Black really brings out the color & details.

    Check out this fabulous fun fold card that shows off both sides of your Designer Paper!

    I had a request to do a video for it so I featured it in this week's Stamp with Me Live on Monday night. If you aren't following me on FB here's the link to my page. 

    Here is the card made with the Peaceful Prints DSP in the Sale-a-Bration catalog seen here.  Right now it's FREE with a $50 order during Stampin' Up!'s Sale-a-Bration promotion. It coordinates with the Peaceful Deer bundle.  I punched the deer on the front panel right from this paper!

    The card on the above right is made with the Peaceful Prints specialty DSP.  I added a few wreaths cut from the Seasonal Swirl dies – one in Black and one in Silver.  

    Watch the video below to see how it's made.  It's actually quite easy and really does showcase both sides of your 2-sided Designer Paper!
