Colorful Sunflowers the easy way!

Marilyn made this pretty card with the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set (seen here) for one of our latest Flowerbug's Team swaps.  I believe she found the idea on Pinterest.  I love how it features 4 of our new In Colors! 

Celebrate Sunflowers Marilyn In Colors Save

The card base is Bumblebee.  She added Black card stock and ink to pull the colors together.  Here is a tip: stamp the sunflower on 4 different colored squares and then cut them into smaller squares.  You'll get enough stamped pieces for 4 cards!

Measurements:

  • Bumblebee card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"
  • White – 5 1/4" X 4"
  • Black 3 3/4" square
  • Just Jade, Magenta Madness, Cinnamon Cider and Bumblee – 3 1/2" squares for stamping. Then cut into 1 3/4" squares to puzzle piece on each card.

  • Summer Shadow dies & Shaded Summer; a beautiful pairing!

    I'm sharing our Flowerbug Team swaps featuring Sale-a-Bration choices. This amazing card was  created by Paula. 

    She used the Summer Shadow dies seen here along with the Shaded Summer stamp set. This stamp set is in the Annual Catalog on page 75 and the dies are a free choice during SAB/Sale-a-Bration. However remember that these dies are expected to sell out before the end of September when SAB ends.  See them here.

    This is also a fun fold card.  Her Black card is 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" and is scored at 2 1/8" X 4 1/4".  The front left panel is folded back.

    Look at the many layers of die-cuts she added here!  Lots of Vellum along with Polished Pink ink and Just Jade & Soft Succulent card stock & inks. Placing the die-cuts on Black really brings out the color & details.

  • Unique Triangle Gate-fold card with video

    Check out this fabulous fun fold card that shows off both sides of your Designer Paper!

    I had a request to do a video for it so I featured it in this week's Stamp with Me Live on Monday night. If you aren't following me on FB here's the link to my page. 

    Here is the card made with the Peaceful Prints DSP in the Sale-a-Bration catalog seen here.  Right now it's FREE with a $50 order during Stampin' Up!'s Sale-a-Bration promotion. It coordinates with the Peaceful Deer bundle.  I punched the deer on the front panel right from this paper!

    The card on the above right is made with the Peaceful Prints specialty DSP.  I added a few wreaths cut from the Seasonal Swirl dies – one in Black and one in Silver.  

    Watch the video below to see how it's made.  It's actually quite easy and really does showcase both sides of your 2-sided Designer Paper!
