Christmas Card classes are starting in September!

I know it seems early to start on Christmas cards but I have many people that start them way before this.  I am definitely NOT ready for summer to be over!  I want to hang on as long as I can!

I hold two Christmas Class sessions per month from September through early December.  I know many of you wonder how I can do this during Covid-19 but my classes are not large so there can be quite a bit of space between people.  And masks are encouraged.  

Here are my first set of cards for September's classes:

Sept cards Save

I'm featuring the Snowflake Wishes bundle, the Tree Angle stamp set & Triangle dies, the Evergreen Forest embossing folder & Toille Christmas and lastly the Merry Moose bundle.  

They'll make 3 of each card with coordinating stamped envelopes for a total of 12 cards per class.  Most people come to all 4 month's of classes and end up with 48 beautiful Christmas cards ready for addressing.  

Sept cards Save

The class dates are September 12th at 10 am and 16th at 6 pm.  Please RSVP by September 7th to attend.  

If you cannot attend class locally in Minot, ND you can choose to order the pdf tutorial for these cards.  They're designed for both  crafters and for demonstrators to use in their classes. Check it out here.

    I love seeing what my Flowerbugs make for our monthly Team swaps.  Swaps are optional and fun for those who choose to join in.

    Today I'm sharing two cards; one birthday and one Christmas.

    First is Tammi's card made with the Biggest Wish stamp set & the Pattern Party designer paper.  If you're wondering where this paper is from it's a Hostess choice.  You can get it as part of your free products with an order over $150.  That's when hostess benefits kick in.

    She added a wrap of the Black glittered ribbon around her 4"X 5 1/4" card front which brings in the Black stamped images to coordinate.  Here DSP is 4" X 3".  

    Next up is Candy's pretty wreath card.  

    She used the Forever Fern stamp set to create a wreath stamping around a masked off circle in the center.  What a great way to use a stamp set that isn't even Christmas!

    I believe her colors are Real Red, Garden Green & Blackberry Bliss.  The greeting is from the Merriest Moments.  The corner accents are from the Detailed Trio punch. I love her itty bitty bow!

    Here are two more cards made by my talented Flowerbugs! Both used the Expressions in Ink suite. 

    Candace made this first one using a nice piece of the beautiful Expressions in Ink specialty DSP.  She stamped her greeting and leaves directly onto the DSP using Evening Evergreen ink.

    Then she stamped the large flower on a separate piece of White CS and die-cut it out using the Artistic Dies.  Lovely!

    Tracey made this one using just the Artistically Inked stamp set.  She stamped all of her images on the White CS and added that to a layer of textured White CS.  She used the Timber 3D embossing folder.

    You can see she added a bit of sponging to the embossed layer to really bring out the texture.

  • What’s Cookin’ & All For Baby card ideas

    Today I'm sharing two cards made by sisters on my Flowerbugs Team.  They're so talented and I love to see what they make for our swaps.  

    First is an amazing card made by Jonna.  She used the What's Cookin' bundle seen here.  I LOVE her colors and how she created a tablecloth from the patterned paper by placing it on an angle.

    She stamped & die-cut the cooking elements and added it to the 'table'.  The White background is textured with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.  

    The greeting is stamped and punched out with the Everyday Label punch. It's neat how she used it vertically instead of the usual way. 

    Next is a sweet baby card made by Jacki featuring the All for Baby bundle seen here.  Her colors are Just Jade & Basic White.  The baby outfit is stamped in Just Jade ink and die-cut; then added with the hanger die-cut.  The designer paper is from our In color patterned paper packs – we have 6 sets of these in all of our color families.

    That little rhinestone on the hanger is a great addition. I love the simplicity of this card; it really showcases the outfit & greeting.
