Check out these Just Kiddin’ Suite cards by our Artist of the Month!

Today I'm sharing multiple cards made by Marla – our February Artist of the Month on my Flowerbug's Team.  She chose to feature the Just Kiddin' suite seen here.

This card was cased from Lisa Curcio and is called a 3 tiered easel card.  It's a neat fun fold card.

The front two panels are folded down in the photo above so you can see the back panel of the 3 tiers. Very clever!

She used one of the scenes in the DSP for her background and added the girl, ball, pennants, stool and greeting!

This is a mini slimline card. I believe she stamped the pillows but the rest are cut from the DSP or die-cut with the dies in the bundle.

Here she added the kids, a greeting and the 'block' castle to the Just Kiddin' DSP scene.

ON the card above she scored the back of her card base in half (2 3/4") and added the scene and the greeting strip in front with extra scored ends that create a curved element. That pretty purple glimmer paper is from our Online Exclusives.  So cool!

This scene is made with the dies in the Just Kiddin' bundle seen here and of course the little girl (fussy cut) from the DSP.

Adding the kids with Dimensionals completes the scene. I love how she let the Just Kiddin' DSP do the work of the background!

This gatefold card opens up to reveal a full scene! Don't yo love the little baby peeking out!?

The greeting is on one layer and the kits are on another layer; both have a double score line that makes them pop up slightly.

Didn't she do an incredible job showcasing the Just Kiddin' suite?!  Great job Marla!!

  • Sweet Citrus video; a Grapefruit version with optional gift card

We made this CUTE fun fold card at my February Card Clubs and it was a big hit!  Everyone loved the fresh color combo and how cool the textured fruit images are.

I used the Sweet Citrus bundle seen here and these colors: Flirty Flamingo, Pale Papaya and Granny Apple Green.  You can sure see the texture in the photo above.  Did you know you can use our Hybrid embossing folders to texture and die-cut all at once?  It's super cool and saves a step.

I show how in the video along with how to stamp the fruit perfectly using the Stamparatus.  Perfect every time!

The card is a bit different in that the lower panel can be left open to add a gift card or money into.  Or seal it up; your choice.

    Card measurements:

    • Card base 4 1/4" X 11" scored at 4" & 9 1/2"
    • White 4" X 3 1/2" for textured front, stamped front panel is 2 7/8" X 4", inside is 4" X 3 1/2"
    • Granny Apple Green 3" X 4 1/8"
    • Pale Papaya strip 4 1/4" X 3/4"
    • Dandy Designs DSP 4" X 1 1/4"

  • Sweet Citrus bundle with a Hybrid embossing folder; you can texture & cut at the same time!

In a recent video I shared multiple projects featuring the Sweet Citrus bundle.  Every card I make with this set is my favorite!  How can that be?

Let's start with colors – they're Balmy Blue with Daffodil Delight and Garden Green.  So fresh and spring-like.

The designer paper is called Country Gingham seen here.

The images and greetings are all from the Sweet Citrus stamp set. It comes in a bundle with dies AND a Hybrid embossing folder. See it here

What is a Hybrid embossing folder?  It's one that allows you to cut AND texture at the same time.  You can use it the usual way as well.  But using the die & folder together eliminates a step.  I show how it's done in the video here.

There are many reasons to get this bundle but the greetings are a big one.  So perfect and coordinate nicely with the stamp theme.

I shared lots of samples in the video; I hope you watch it!  Remember to follow me on Facebook here or on YouTube here.

  • The Hello, Irresistible card kit to go is here!

I had to use the new Hello, Irresistible designer paper for my March card kit to go.  It's absolutely gorgeous with fresh spring colors plus deep, rich tones too.

The colors include Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Lost Lagoon, Petal Pink, Pretty Peacock, Soft Sea Foam.

*Did you see that Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock are included?  Stampin' Up! shared that we ARE getting a Color Refresh with the new Annual Catalog in May. We'll know which colors are retiring on March 29th.

4 of the 5 designs are fun folds in this kit including an explosion and a shaker card.  It was difficult to get a good photo.  But they are gorgeous in real life!

This pre-cut kit to go includes the 10 pre-cut cards & all elements, 1/2 pkg. of the new Hello, Irresistible DSP, a share of White Glittered ribbon and In Color Opal Rounds. The PDF tutorial is free!  That's $20 in product plus the 10 pre-cut cards for just $28. Reserve your kit to go here.    *This is the kit my monthly subscribers will receive.

Or choose the PDF only for $15 here.

Be sure to opt in by March 19th to get this kit to go. The PDF will be emailed to you immediately after payment from my Shopify site.  The pre-cut card kit & products will be delayed due to the DSP is out of stock.  It will be sent to you in early April.

You will need a paper trimmer (to cut your new DSP), adhesives, greeting images and a few ink pads.  I used the Irresistible Blooms stamp set for greetings but you can substitute others if needed.

Add on the Irresistible Blooms stamp set or bundle at 10% off!  Message me here for that option and I'll send you an invoice for it all.

I have another new kit to go available in March – the Rain or Shine fun fold card kit.  See that here.   Get both and save $$.*Add on any other card kit with it and save on shipping costs!  Go here to see them all.
