It's my featured card kit for June.  I love that the colors in this DSP include many new and returning colors like Bubble Bath, Azure Afternoon, Berry Burst, Lemon Line Twist and Misty Moonlight.  

There are 5 fancy fold designs and you'll make 2 of each for a total of 10 cards. *The fun fold designs include a Book Binding Easel, Latch cards and Z-folds.

The tutorial includes photos, step by step directions, a supplies list and measurements.  You'll receive the PDF tutorial in an email immediately after payment.  Please check your spam or junk folder. 

To complete the cards you will need the following: Blueberry Bushel, Berry Burst, Bubble Bath & Misty Moonlight inks, a paper trimmer, stamps and adhesives.

  • Bright Borders fun fold with Bloom Impressions DSP

    We made these pretty cards at my Clubs in January.  I featured the Bright Borders stamp set with the To the Point punch and the Sale-a-Bration Bloom Impressions DSP.

    Unfortunately the To the Point punch is out of stock and isn't expected to be back until April!  I was worried about this when I saw it was in low inventory. 

    The gorgeous Bloom Impressions DSP is a free choice during Sale-a-Bration and is also in low inventory.  If it does run out it's possible they'll turn off the item number if they cannot get more in stock before the end of February.  So grab yours here now! 

    BLOOM IMPRESSIONS 12" X 12" (30.5 X 30.5 CM) DESIGNER SERIES PAPER Save

    This is a fun fold card – sometimes called a 'back-fold'. The far right inside is scored so it can bend backwards. The greeting layers are adhered to that side and hold the card closed.  It's a great way to show off our coordinating colors in our beautiful designer papers.

  • Spring Corners fun fold card with free project sheet & video tutorial

    I totally enjoyed making this neat fun fold card.  It shows off this neat stamp set wonderfully!

    I wanted to highlight the flower image as well as the neat greeting. I used Stampin' Write markers to color my image before I stamped. 

    Tips on coloring stamps with markers:

    • always us a water-based marker (never a Blends 'permanent' marker)
    • color with the lightest color first so you don't contaminate your tip with a darker color
    • huff on the image before stamping to moisten the inks – this gives a brighter image

    This neat fold starts with an 11" X 4 1/4" card base with a small fold back on the front. Then the DSP layer is added behind it.

    My colors include Fresh Freesia, Blackberry Bliss or Granny Apple Green and White. The DSP is the Toadstool Gardens and the ribbon is the Fresh Freesia seam binding ribbon – both are from our free Sale-a-Bration choice.
