Beautiful Plaid card featuring the Grow with Love bundle

I shared this pretty card on a recent video. I made it for our Team swap which had a plaid theme.

It features the Grow with Love bundle seen here. My colors include Basic Beige, Old Olive and Lost Lagoon – taken from the pretty Timeless Plaid layer.

The basil and stamped frame are all done with the Grow with Love dies. The greeting is from the Mixed Label dies. I did sponge the edges and the leaves with Lost Lagoon ink. The herb images in this set are so pretty and have Stampin' Up!'s distinktive style which shows off multiple hues with one inking. The coordinating dies cut off the herb names; a great option if you do not want to include them.

The pretty embossing folder is called Dashing Designs and can be seen here. I'm so sad it's retiring! This textured piece is made from our 2-toned Olive 12 X 12" card stock. When embossing this white core paper the texture reveals the white core just enough to enhance the texture. I could have sanded it to reveal even more texture but I did not.

Seriously the Best Cards with Golden Honey Folio gift pouch & video

I chose to use the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Paper for my color inspiration. It's Black, White with Gold foil accents. Measurements and details are below.

As you can see I made a few cards with just black, white and gold. Then I added color on the other with Melon Mambo & used just the black and white DSP. You can add any of your favorite colors to this pretty paper; Black and White is just the beginning!

Here are the measurements for the folio pouch and cards.
- Folio is 8 1/2" X 11". Score on the long side at 5 1/4" and 5 3/4". Score on the short side at 6 1/2".
- DSP on the front is 4 1/2" X 5 3/4" and the white layer is 4 5/8" X 6"
- Cards measure 4 1/4" X 9"; scored at 5 1/2". DSP is 3 1/4" X 4" and 1 7/8" X 4".

I did have trouble getting a good photo of the actual colors on this one. I added Petal Pink/Champagne ribbon and Champagne rhinestones to this one. I cannot resist adding these when I can. They're beautiful!

Pleased as Punch Cards kit to go; bright and springy!

For February I chose to feature the new Pleased as Punch designer paper for my cards kit to go. It's bright and springy and coordinates with 4 of our newest punches! The Tulip, Umbrella, Heart Punch pack and new Blossom punches are the four.

I absolutely love these cards! All of the 5 designs are unique fun fold cards which are always a delight to create and fun for the recipient. Here's a photo of the Pleased as Punch designer paper; available now!
