I used watercolor pencils & blender pen to color the floral image
the gold honeycomb sheet is from the Sweet Sunflower Paper Pumpkin kit; it was a free gift add on
I used the gold honeycomb sheet to add a pretty, blended background using Balmy Blue ink & a Blending Brush

I made a second card using mostly the Flowers of Home dies.

I cased the card from Sue Mohr; I thought it was simply elegant way to create a 'wreath' around the oval sentiment.

The oval dies are from the Fabulous Frames dies seen here. When you cut out the oval it creates both the frame and the inside; two pieces with one die!

I textured the White layer with the Quatrefoil embossing folder seen here. It's so pretty and works perfectly with these flower & leaves die-cuts.

The colors I used are Balmy Blue, Pear Pizzazz, Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia.

Tip; when adding these delicate die-cuts use just a tiny but of Multipurpose Liquid glue.

Card kit to go; craft safely in your own home!

There have been many closures and cancellations announced this week due to the Corona Virus. I am continuing to hold my small events so far as most are under 10 people. But if you're playing it safe and staying home, I have a great option for you to continue to craft in your home.

We played with the Rise & Shine stamp set this weekend at Becky's workshop. I love these colors together!

It's Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink and Smoky Slate. We used the Detailed Trio punch to round the corners on opposite sides of our layers here.

Golden Honey Scrapbook Class with a kit to go option

Scrapbooking was my first paper crafting hobby. Now I spend a lot more time making cards than I do scrapbook pages.

I just knew the Golden Honey specialty designer paper would make gorgeous layouts! This designer paper is no longer available during Sale-a-Bration but I have a supply of it for these classes.

I made 5 beautiful, unique layouts with 12 X 12" card stock. Because this paper is black and white based with some gold accents I could add lots of fun colors to create my layouts. I LOVE black and white with a pop of color on my projects!

Here's a full view of two of them. This first layout has Bermuda Bay as the main color with the Detailed Bee dies. The page title is from the Hand-Lettered Prose dies seen here.

Here's another one in all black and white with gold accents. I added daisy punched accents on this page.

There isn't any stamping on these pages; it's all pre-cut, punched or die-cut pieces. It also includes the embellishments too. All you need is adhesive so it's perfect to finish up at home!

The class is on Saturday, March 28th at 2 pm. The cost is $25 for all 10 pages. It's also available as a kit to go for both local and long distance customers. It's an extra $5 for shipping. RSVP by March 19th to receive a kit.

The kit includes everything you see; pre-cut pieces, die-cuts, photos and tips on assembly. Kits are mailed out at the end of March.
