GONE FISHING BUNDLE (ENGLISH) Save

She was our Artist of the Month for June and chose this special bundle; so unique and perfect for the fishermen (and fisherwomen!).  See the Gone Fishing bundle here.

This first card is filled with layers and details – well all of them are really!

Gone Fishing 2 Save

The colors include Misty Moonlight, Petal Pink and Pebbled Path.  She added Wink of Stella to the fish, and bobbin.  That fish is gorgeous. I love the wavy cut DSP at the top and her sponged sky.  And did you notice the rhinestone 'bubbles'?

Below is the inside of this card; she always adds details to her card inside layer.

Next is a fun fold card where the center panel lifts up.  It's adhered to a 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" layer.

Gone Fishing 5 Save

Her colors include Pebbled Path and Misty Moonlight with a bit of Vanilla and Boho Blue.

The folded panel is 3" wide X 8" tall and scored at 4". The DSP is 5 1/4" X 4" in the back and the front panel is 2 3/4" X 3 3/4"

Next is a neat card featuring the Spiral Dye. She stamped it twice; once in Pool Party and once in Lost Lagoon.

The Stitched die-cuts are from the Stylish Shapes dies. Notice that shiny paper banner?  That is the new Holographic Trio specialty paper on page 127 of the Annual Catalog.

I'll share more of her amazing projects tomorrow.  Don't miss the next set!

  • Today is the last day for the 36% off promotion! Plus Elegantly Said bundle & punch tips!

Today is the last day to get in on the Starter Kit promotion seen here.  If your wish list is larger than $99 it only makes sense to choose this option.

Don't think of it as a commitment, but as an opportunity to get your SU products at a discount while you can.  When you're done ordering what you want you can stop.  That's it!  Simple and smart.

    • Your first $300 in orders isn't 'due' until the end of September.  And we have the Holiday catalog AND Sale-a-Bration to order from in August.  It starts for customers in September but one of our favorite Demonstrator perks is pre-ordering from NEW catalogs a month earlier than everyone else.
    • Another thing you might not know is that our $300 minimum order amount is retail; not discounted price.  So we're really spending just $240 to stay active and enjoy the discount.  All orders, yours or your friends all count.
    • There's no need to sell or hold classes unless you'd like to.

Elegantly Said Black & White Save

It's elegant and clean in Black & White.  Check out the Elegantly Said stamp set here in the bundle with the Elegant Tag punch. I'll share another project with it tomorrow.

  • 2 more beautiful scenes with the After the Storm stamp set with video

Yesterday I shared the details on two cards featuring the After the Storm stamp set seen here.  Today I'm sharing two more.

    After the Storm set Save

Creating scenes is one of my favorite stamping techniques and this set features distinktive images we've never had before.

    After the storm sun Save

My color scheme here is So Saffron, Balmy Blue, Black & White. I did use our fabulous Blending Brushes to achieve the sky background.  They really do help you get a smooth finish.  Although here I wanted the sky to be slightly imperfect with light and darker areas for a cloudy look.

    After the storm sun Save

Here I created a mask for the sun using a 1 1/2" circle and sponged in So Saffron ink.  Then I stamped the sun's ray's.  To accent them I added the thin lines using 2nd generation Balmy Blue ink.  You can sponge the sky before or after you stamp the sun's rays. Since it's a light color ink it really doesn't matter.

After the Storm So Saffron both Save

For the card below I used the rock & roll technique for the clouds.  You can see how this is done in the video below.  I used Smoky Slate and Balmy Blue ink on the cloud images.

    After the storm sun Save

Within the clouds I sponged a hint of a 'sun' with a sponge dauber & So Saffron ink and added the sun rays from that.  All images are from this stamp set except for the trees; they are from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set.  The White greeting is 3/4" thick and the left end is punched with the Treasured Tag Pick a Punch.

Below is the video for both of these cards & two more!
