A set of Autumn ‘5 at a time’ cards; with video and free project sheet

Look at these beautiful cards; all made by stamping one sheet of Vanilla card stock and cutting it into 5 pieces!

Just like the cards I shared yesterday, they’re stamped with the Tile Garden stamp set seen here. I wanted to create these cards in fall colors instead of the summery colors I shared yesterday.

Here I used Cajun Craze, Golden Glow and Pretty Peacock with Very Vanilla. I love how they turned out!

The 2 templates for both stamping and the Pretty Peacock layers are all made from a single sheet of 8 1/2″ X 11″ card stock. Use them as a cutting guide.

This first one is for the Vanilla or ‘neutral’ stamped layer.

This next template is the one for the Pretty Peacock layer; under the stamped Vanilla pieces. I love how you can use your card stock so effectively!

Both of these templates are included in the free project sheet I created. Click here to print or download it.

And below is the video tutorial I shared last week with an entire different set of cards! I’ll share another version tomorrow.

  • Bamboo Beauty & the Ink Swipe Technique

I created this striking card for a swap I participated in with some of my Demonstrator leader friends.  I wanted to highlight the beautiful Bamboo Beauty stamp set.

I decided to create a bold background effect by swiping ink pads directly across my Basic White CS.  Each one turned out totally different!

I chose to use these colors from top to bottom – Pale Papaya, Mango Melody, Flirty Flamingo & Calypso Coral. Depending on how well inked your pads are you can get a variety of hues.  After I swiped the darker colors I used the Pale Papaya over it all to blend and soften the colors together.

My measurements for this card are as follows:

    • So Saffron card base 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored at 2 1/8" & 4 1/4"
    • White (before swiping) 3 1/2" X 4 3/4"
    • Black 3 5/8" X 4 7/8"

I hope you try this technique; it's so fun!  I shared this technique using glossy paper in a video a few years ago.  Here's a link to it.

  • Watercolor Shapes Fun Fold cards – FB Live Replay video

On my weekly FB Live I shared many ideas for the Watercolor Shapes stamp set.  The cards below are just one of the three card versions I shared.  Scroll down to catch the video.  Or click here to see it.

I offer frequent Creative Card Challenges for my Flowerbug's Team and this is the one we're currently working on:

Here's a closer view one card. I love how the solid images stamp with multiple hues of color without any effort!  It may look like my ink pad wasn't inked enough but this is on purpose. These Distinctive stamps are wonderful and provide a lot of dimension effortlessly!

Which do you prefer?  Pale Papaya or Fresh Freesia?

There are so many possibilities with this set; I just scratched the surface! Click here to see it in my store.
