A Little Latte Surprise Accordion Fun Fold card with free project sheet!

I shared how to make this neat surprise accordion card on last week's Live video.  It's also one of the projects in my 'A Little Latte' card kit to go this month.

It features the A Little Latte designer series paper – it's new in our Online Exclusives and can be seen here. It's part of the Latte Love suite that includes the DSP, a stamp & dies bundle, swirl dots and natural polka dot ribbon.

I've shared another version of this accordion card here but today's card uses a piece of designer paper measuring 6" X 4" that pops up when the card is opened.  You can add elements to the popped up area too.

Even though it's in my kit or tutorial this month I am offering the free project sheet for this card. Click on this link to download or print it.  Download Latte Love accordion card

Unfortunately the pre-cut is sold out; but I may offer it again later this spring once the product is available again.  The PDF tutorial is here for $15.

Watch the video here or below to see how it's made.  Don't forget to follow me on my YouTube channel here or my Facebook page here.  There are also two more fun fold cards too!

  • Happy Birthday to You SAB set swaps

Two more pretty card swaps from my Flowerbug's Team today.  These two cards are similar in layout but still so different.

This Happy Birthday to You stamp set (seen here) is free with any $50 order during Sale-a-Bration.  And now there is a set of dies to match!  Click on the photo below to see those. My customers love it when there are dies to match; no fussy cutting!

First is Deloris's card in Balmy Blue and Daffodil Delight.

She used the Stitched So Sweetly dies for her White layer and the greeting.  The cake and the flowers are cut out with the Birthday Dies seen above.  She colored the images with Blends markers.  The texture is from the Parisian Flourish embossing folder.

Next is Karen's card; she used Pacific Point with Daffodil Delight and Silver foil

Her stamped cake and the Silver cake stand are cut out with the Birthday dies.  She textured her Pacific Point layer with the Coastal Weave embossing folder.

Like I said; these two cards are similar but not!

This pretty stamp set fits just about any celebration that involves cake; which in our family is just about everything!

  • Power of Hope Bundle swap cards

I have a lot of swaps to show you this week.  My Flowerbug's Team held a Sale-a-Bration card swap and the cards are amazing!  Each day I'll share a few with you.

First up are two cards featuring the Power of Hope bundle from the 2020 Sale-a-Bration catalog.  It's free with any $100 purchase.  You receive both the stamp set and the Stone embossing folder.  Look!

Annette made this one; it's a gate-fold card with a faux lantern.  She stamped and colored the image with Blends markers before adding texture with the Corrugated embossing folder seen here.  She also rubbed her Black Memento ink pad over the texture to add a distressed look.

She achieved the lantern by cutting out a circle with the Circles Collection dies and adding strips of Real Red above and below.  The top of the lantern is made with the Light Bulb punch. Both the silver foil and Real Red papers are textured with the Stone embossing folder.

Audrey made the pretty card above adding Gold with her Red, Black and White colors.  So elegant!  The greeting is heat embossed.  Look at what she did on the inside of the card!  Unique and special.

You can see this bundle here in my online store.

  • Easy Pizza Box for Note cards!

Have you ever wanted to gift a bunch of cards but weren't sure how to package them?  I have a solution for note cards.

Note cards are traditionally smaller than A2 size cards; usually 3 1/2" X 5".  We have a few different note cards in our 2019-20 Annual catalog this year.  White or Scalloped.  You can find them on page 168.  Or click here for the Scalloped.

Coordination Product Release – While supplies last!

I have been playing with the new Pleased as Punch designer paper a lot and the colors fit these cute scalloped note cards.  Look!

The colors are Old Olive, Balmy Blue, Light Pink and Terracotta Tile.  I used Calypso Coral ink on all of the cards; it is very close to Terracotta Tile.

I used just a few pieces of the DSP on each card and added the four punches that coordinate with the Pleased as Punch to embellish. They include the Heart Punch Pack, Blossom (SAB), Tulip and Umbrella. You can see them at the end of this post.

This box is so easy to make and it uses just one 8 1/2" X 11" sheet of card stock for the main box.  The items I used are in the links at the end of this post.

Here are the measurements for the box:

    Calypso Coral card stock: 7‐1/2" x 11"
        • score at: 1", 5", 6", 10" on the long side
        • score at: 1" and 6‐1/2" on the short side

Watch the video below to see how to assemble the box and make the cards too.  Plus I share a bunch of our NEW Product Coordination items too!
