3rd set of WOW Masculine swap cards by my Team!

I have another set of incredible swap cards made by my Flowerbug's Team. Our theme in July was masculine cards and the cards are out of this world creative! I'm sharing a bunch each day this week.

First up is a card made by Candace. She really went outside the box with her background strip idea. The various widths & lengths of strips are a clever & unique way to set up her aquatic scene.

She used the 'Whale Done' stamp set and the coordinating Whale punch. That neat 'seaweed' is from the Delicate Edges dies seen here.

Her colors are unique but sure work well together! They are Soft Sea Foam, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent & Orchid Oasis. Great job!!

Next is Becky's fun 'sailboat' card. She used the Let's Set Sail Bundle seen here.

Her colors are Night of Navy, Parakeet Party & Sahara Sand. The DSP is from the Sun Prints. It's a fancy fold too!

Notice her clouds on the background? She used the Friends are Like Seashells stamps for those! So clever!

Measurements:

The card base is 4 1/4" X 11" scored at 5 1/2".
The long strip is 1 1/2" X 11" scored at 2 3/4", 5 1/2" & 8 1/4" and is adhered only at the two end pieces.
The squares are 1 3/4" & 2" in size.

Next is a wonderful card made by Monica. She used the Dragonfly Garden stamp set & coordinating Dragonflies punch.

Details:

Her colors include Soft Suede, Soft Succulent & Evening Evergreen. She textured the various strips using the new Painted Posies 3D embossing folder.
The strips are all 4 3/4" long but vary in width from 5/8" – 1 1/4" all adhered to a 4" X 5 1/4" piece of White CS. Again, strips to the rescue for a unique background idea; perfect for men.
The greeting die-cuts are from the Stitched Rectangle dies.
The dragonfly is stamped on Vellum and punched out. But she stamped it again on a piece of the Texture Chic specialty DSP for the center. So it has gold details on it!

Two more fun fold cards today; Penguins & Sun Prints

Today I have two more unique 'fun fold' cards for you. Both made by my talented Flowerbug's Team members.

First is an easy but quite unique fold made by Annette:

- She used Night of Navy as her card base. It's 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" and scored on the long side at 2", 3 1/8", 5 3/8" & 6 1/2".
- The Sun Prints DSP are 1 3/4" X 5 1/4" on the out side areas and 2" X 5 1/4" on the center.
- I didn't show a photo of the back but she added a White layer in the center area for signing. It's also 2" X 5 1/4"
It stands up nicely too. Here's what it looks like closed for mailing.

The scalloped rectangle die-cut if from the Scalloped Contour dies; the greeting is from Charming Sentiments and the pretty stem die-cut is from the Nature's Prints bundle seen here.

Next is a cute spanner card made by Jacki. She chose to use the Penguin Place stamp set & coordinating Penguin Builder punch.

Can you see how the sides and front greeting are floating in front of the center panel? It's a neat fold that you'll never see in a pre-made card!

She used window sheets across the bottom to hold the greeting layers.

The designer paper is from the Tea Boutique 6 X 6" paper in the Annual Catalog. I love that snow hill curve!

Measurements:
- White card base is 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4".
- Then make cuts at 1 1/4" from both sides on the front and cut to the center score line. That separates the sides from the front panel.
- DSP is 2 3/4" X 2" on the center and 1" X 4" on the sides.

Snowman Magic WOW card; amazing work by Candace!

Last weekend we held our monthly Flowerbug's Team swap. Our theme was fun folds! I know you're going to love seeing their wonderful creations.

Today I'm sharing two cards featuring the Santa Express designer paper. This first is made by Candace. She used the Snowman Magic bundle seen here in the 2022 Holiday Catalog.

Amazing, right?!

It folds flat for mailing and fits in a standard A2 envelope.

I'm going to do my best to provide the correct card stock measurements for this:
- Shaded Spruce 2 pieces at 4" X 6" score on the long sides at 2" & 5 1/2"; turn and score on the short side at 2". Cut up to the score lines and trim off the extra 1/2" strip.
- inside pieces are 1" X 5 1/2" scored at 3/4" from both ends. The scored ends are folded and adhered to the outer edges of the box inside.
She used 1/4" strips of Window Sheets to hold up the snowflakes and holly. The snowmen, trees and bunny are adhered to the box and inside strips. It's so darn cute!

Next is another incredible card made by Brenda; she chose to use the Santa Express designer paper also and added the coordinating Santa's Delivery bundle to hers.

It's a side-step fun fold card. She chose to use Petal Pink and Pear Pizzazz for her card base & layers. I love the jumping penguins and that smoke stack!

Here are the measurements:
- Card base 5 1/2" X 6" scored in half at 4 1/4". Then make a mark at the 1" and at 6 3/8" at the 3" mark across.
- Now you'll cut from those marks down the center of the card.
- Next score up to the cut line at 1", 2", 3 1/4" and 6 3/8"

She cut the trains from the Santa Express designer paper using the Santa's Train dies; which coordinate perfectly. The cute penguins & smoke are stamped, colored & die-cut. They're added with 1/4" strips of Window sheets so they pop up and flutter when opened. Just adorable!
